I requested they transfer a prescription and the person who picked up the phone was rude and condescending. I called on a Wed and they said it would have to be ordered and would let me know. A week later I went up and they had no record of the prescription. I called the other pharmacy and they said they had never been contacted by Walgreens. With such limited hours I tried the Walgreens in a neighboring town because they had full week hours. Have been sitting on hold for over an hour with just 2 people ahead of me. They should get out of the pharmacy business.

Isabelle spent a very long time fighting with the machine until she accomplished the task. I have never had such good service from an employee anywhere in the Walmart system. I needed to pick up some items almost exclusively from the pharmacy section and made my way here…read more It was on my way home to PA and I decided to give it a try. This is somewhat of a smaller Walmart that I have been to, and this is one that you can tell was built back in the 90s and not torn down and replaced. Evident by the front of the store where the carts are stored. Pharmacy was off to the left of the one entrance and, as this is a theme, smaller than expected. And busy, it made it hard to browse and select items, almost always someone was in front of you or blocking an item. Especially if it was the aisle that forms the line leading to the pharmacy counter. On top of that, workers are milling about filling the shelves. So another obstacle to overcome. After what felt like an eternity, I had everything that I wanted and a few other items that I didn't necessarily need. Made our way to the front of the store to the self checkout lines. It took a while to get to an open register. I had to do two separate transactions and being able to do so without a line directly behind me, made it easier. However, being eagle eyed by the three employees hovering around the self checkout area was a bit unsettling. Finally paid, made our way outside and back on our way for the day.

So, coming to this Martin's is like being at home since it's 99.9% the same experience down to the stupid Marty robot getting in the way wherever it's rumbling. Are the prices the best? No Are you going to be wowed with amazing bougee ethnic or organic finds? No Are you going to wait to checkout because the self-checkout scanners work like a good hall of fame hitter, where they get a hit one out of every three tries? Yep. With that said, for a town and area of this size, it is a full-scale store that offers a little bit of everything so if you're staying in a cabin fifteen miles away and this is the nearest grocery option, at least you can hit it all at once. Good. Enough. (Open daily 6am-11pm the same as basically all Giant/Martin's)

I am a self-checkout person at every other store, and don't even mind that this store does not use self checkout. They move customers through without any wait. The cashiers are always very smooth with any transaction, so they must be well trained here. I never feel any stress or hostility around the employees either. They generally seem happier than those at the other stores in town. Quality of meat and produce is consistently good.

Why is a state mandate ignored? Not a single employee approached the man while I was shopping so I just left my cart and exited.

I used to love Kohl's until they started changing everything. I've been with them since they opened…read morethe store. I order a lot online if I can't find it in the store. For the first time this Christmas one package was missing. I had just found out I had cancer and was not home. I had told them to send it so I could sign for it, which they didn't. I called to let them know. I didn't receive the package and they had a picture that UPS delivered it. I've never had a problem with them until now. They have decided to keep my money which is almost $600 also using Kohl's cash of $160 and they are not sending me another replacement. I even spoke to corporate. I'm not sure what I can do but I have a police report and it still didn't make a difference. The only thing I can do is take it to court. Their reasoning behind this is they're telling me that too many people are saying they're not receiving their packages and they can't keep putting out money. I told her this is the first time that this is ever happened to me. I would have received it the end of December. Needless to say this will be the last time that I will ever shop at Kohls. I will file a claim with the BBB and file small claims. Cancer is a serious issue. So now they have my money and they have my ring It's bad enough when they tell you what you can use your cash on and the dates between you can use it. I'm going to post this as many places as I can so that other people do not get scammed by Place.
