When I found out Syracuse has a place serving cevapi, I was ecstatic. Obviously, the first time I went, I had to try the cevapi, which did not surpass the lofty bar set by my first experience but was a good dish overall. The portion size provides excellent value and while the service is nothing to write home about, it was by no means negligent. Next time I went, I decided to experiment a bit and tried the pljeskavica. I was blown away by this dish and think I now have a new favorite. The meat was high quality, tender, and scrumptious. And once again, the portion size provided excellent value. The dining area is also linked to a grocery store serving a variety of eclectic European, Turkish, and Middle Eastern products. As someone who only eats halal meat, it was nice to find a place that had halal products in Syracuse like sucuk (sausage).

This place seems to be only a grocery store, there was no restaurant or kitchen to order inside like other reviews state. Inside the floors were very sticky and my shoes were sticking to the floor, the inside was really dirty and it smelled bad. Food was hit or miss on expiration dates. There was a lot of variety. I did pick up a bag of bananako since its hard to find in the area but that was plenty and all I needed before being ready to leave. Prices were on the higher end compared to other import markets in the area. If you go I'd recommend packaged items.

Was fun wandering the aisles and seeing all the goodies. Being the candy fiend I am and in my constant quest for a watermelon retro candy I spent a good amount of time down that aisle even though I came up empty handed there were a number of old classics to be had like teaberry and clove gum along with razzles. Loved all the baked goods that are homemade and left with a loaf of English Muffin Bread that I have not seen in years. Store is clean, bright, with wide aisles. Wish items were organized differently for ease in finding items but staff were warm, friendly, and directed me straight to the popcorn salt that I was looking for. Fun time and am looking forward to going back and looking for long lost goodies of days gone by. They have a large deli as well so this would be a great stop if you are headed out for a picnic. I've been in more frequently lately courtesy of trying a cookie/biscuit they sell that I am hopelessly addicted to. The available prepared frozen meals are good and have become a go-to freezer meal for when my husband and I don't want to cook. The Bazaar has the usual array of dal and beans you would expect at any Indian grocery. Their fresh produce is somewhat limited in scope but it's a decent place to get a big bundle of mint, dill, small green chilis, palak/spinach, taramind root, and a few other things I don't see as often in other Asian groceries. The dairy is a-okay and what you would expect of yoghurt, paneer, etc. Dry goods are the strength of the place and they have many options of 10lbs bags of rice available. I'm always tempted by the beautiful stainless steel pots and serving trays at the back of the store. There is a limited beauty supply section near the checkout. Checkout has always been fine. I usually end up distracted by the clearance shelf as soon as I get up there so I have learned to hit that first! The parking lot is angled parking and sometimes things get a little crazy so drive with caution. There aren't any bike racks that I have seen in the plaza but with a strong cable you could link up around the poles for the covered walk. It is on a bus line.
