She has bathroom issues the requires her to carry extra underwear and pads in her purse. What little enjoyment she has is coming to your store to get out a little and see things as much as she can till we walked into your store. We were told to put our purses in the locker or we couldn't enter! My mom tried to tell the lady without announcing to the whole world the she has bathroom issues and carries appropriate things and a lot of times she doesn't have time to go to a locker and get a purse with 1 blind eye and was told she couldn't shop unless she did. Have you ever tried to maneuver an 86 year old, blind in 1 eye with bathroom issues while carrying my phone, wallet, reading glasses along with my mother's wallet, phone, glasses, underwear and pads while shopping?! Impossible! My mother has spent a lot of money in your store to have her degraded and totally embarrassed by your employee. We will never enter two sisters and social media will surely hear our story and possibly even the media if they willingly. Thank you for your time.

UFS, is located in an older area of Peoria and includes 2 different buildings located across the street from one another. One building houses furniture and the other building carries all of the other general retail and house ware items. You wouldn't expect a store like this to have an outstanding beer selection, but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of beer that they carry. Even more surprising is their low prices. They undercut prices from other beer retailers by at least $1.00 per six pack of craft beer. I picked up several 6 packs that I'd never seen before and took them back to Tennessee with me. I'll definitely be returning during my next visit to the Peoria area. On a side note: they often have beer tastings here. During our visit, they were giving out free samples of Bridgeport beer. Check your local listings for details.

I love Ollie's! Two…read moreof my favorite stores are Aldi and Big Lots and I get both of those vibes when I'm in Ollie's. This location opened in the fall and I think we've been five times or so. The first few times just to browse, but the last couple of times for specific items (air mattress for example). You'll find something different each time you visit. It's like treasure hunting to dig through some of the shelves. I scored some limited edition Method brand hand soap on my first visit. Snagged as many as I could and paid less than half of what I would have at Target. Yes, I get excited about hand soap. A great place to go if you need guest items - I stock up on toothbrushes, body washes, things like that. They have non-perishable food/pantry items. No fresh food. Great place for baking supplies, spices, cereal, shelf-stable items if you aren't really picky about brand names. I would love to see the pet merchandise expanded upon, but they do have an aisles worth right now. Lots of things for the home like rugs, sheets, pillows, towels. Several aisles of toys and a huge area dedicated bargain books. Kitchen, automotive, electronics, office supplies, and seasonal also. While I love a bargain, some of the items at Ollie's are not. We did find an air mattress at Ollie's, but it was much less expensive to get one from Walmart. While their books are 'bargain' prices, I'm not sure they're less expensive than the big box stores. The price tags all have an 'ours' and 'theirs' price. Sometimes there isn't much of difference. I noticed this when buying Halloween candy. I signed up for their rewards program - Ollie's Army. It's easy join and use and you get a coupon for joining. Sign up for their weekly emails, too. The company did a really nice job upgrading the outside of the storefront and appear to be maintaining the parking lot. Customer service has always been above average when we've visited. If you need assistance with something, there are plenty of employees available. Grab a shopping cart - you'll need it!

I timidly approached the racks and realized that this truly is a Clearance Center from a price perspective - the markdowns are astronomical! Over $700 later, I left with gifts for nearly everyone in my life (including myself!). The highlight of the place is the women's dress section. It's huge and dresses for EVERY occasion. The amount of sequins in this place is unreal. The men's section is also enormous, as is the women's (non-dress) section, including a great plus-size variety. The shoe clearance section was all women's; there was another shoe dept but I never made it over there. The most underwhelming area was the kids department, and specifically the boys section. The girls section was decent, but the boys was crazy sparse. The baby department had a fairly good selection. The main focus here is ABSOLUTELY clothing, but there are some home goods. If you're making the visit, make sure you walk the whole store and aim for clothing!

Comparing this to the large modern stores in larger communities is unfair. On its own: this store cares for its community. They have a surprising range of items for a community this size. We are blessed to have this store. My caution is to always check expirations before going to checkout.
