SERVICE -- I came here months ago on a Saturday when I needed a document notarized. This location is very small so the line was super long. I did not know how small it was until I came in. There are normally only about 3 tellers working here. I stood in line for about 12 mins and then it was my turn to be helped. I was told that the notary could not leave the teller line to help me. She was the only notary available. I even called the bank beforehand to ask whether a notary was available and I was told yes. When I reached the beginning of the service line and it was my turn to be helped, I was told that it could be an hour or two wait before I was helped. Plus, they closed around 2pm and I had somewhere else to be that day so I could not wait here. I think I ended up driving somewhere else. This Chase location needs more notaries. They tried their best to help me but they couldn't. I came here again on Christmas day (Dec. 2018) to withdraw some cash. There is an ATM outside the bank which is convenient. It is not a drive-thru ATM so you will have to park your car in the parking lot then walk up to the ATM. I would not recommend coming here by yourself on holidays because the area is unsafe and it will be a dead zone. LOCATION -- This location is in a strip mall that has a Marcs grocery store, a Dollar store, etc. The safety isn't the best after hours. When I came here on Christmas Day, the area was almost dead. I walked over to the ATM then saw someone walking towards me. The person then turned around and drove off. I really miss the Chase branches in Columbus. I supposes Columbus (Ohio) is lucky to have so many Chase banks around because Chase did buy out the former BankOne about 16 years ago thus creating more Chase branches. Chase seriously needs more bank branches and ATMs in Cleveland. I mean, JPMorgan Chase is a global financial institution. The greater Cleveland and Akron area combined is in the top 20 largest cities in the U.S. Thus, there is a market for Chase here. Look, there isn't even one single Chase bank in Lakewood and they hardly have any locations in the west neighbourhoods of Cleveland. Having more locations means less lines at branches and more customers served. Huntington Bank is everywhere but I do not want to open a Huntington account....lol. This location is about 15 mins from my house which isn't bad. The only other location close enough to me is downtown in the Tower City building which isn't convenient to go to after work hours or on weekends. There is also another Chase branch in Rocky River on Center Ridge road. *** - This is my 200th total Yelp review. - I have written 154 Yelp reviews in 2018.

if I could give them a zero I would have but only way to get my review out!!!!! So where do I…read morebegin....... I started my policy three months ago and had given them my bank information which they then pinged to make sure it was a working account. all good so far. made my first payment. then second month comes and I notice they haven't taken out my insurance amount. which is 154 dollars and some change. so I called them after hours and got corporate person which then helped me pay my insurance bill. I then asked why wasn't it taken out on the date they said they were going to. there response was they forgot to check a box to make the autopay got thru. okay fine then issue is fixed right? WRONG!!!!! SOMEHOW some incompetent employee then tried to draw from my account and put in the wrong account info. which first kicked back for insufficient funds. funny thing is is that I confirmed with my bank that I have overdraft coverage. which means if I don't have the funds in my account the bank will still pay the note/bill. So when they told me they had two kickbacks( which my bank verified didn't exist on my account. there was no evidence they ever tried to pull from my account) one for insufficient funds and one for wrong account or something. my point is simply this, if I have given my bank information and you have already pinged it how can you then mess up putting same I fo in for payment. this is where the incompetentcy happened. somehow someone fudged there fingers to another account because if they had put the correct information in like they had pinged originally I wouldn't be in this void where my insurance has lapse to no fault of my own. when I'm talking to corporate the simply say well these are the things why you got canceled and we cannot reinstate my policy or give me a new one. because eof the two returns on my account. They did say they sent me an email which I never got....then the woman said check your spam email. and who the heck looks in there on a regular... what is wrong with a phone call. what ever happen to the customer service??? so even after I told the. I have overdraft coverage and all they couldn't do anything for me. I called several times to talk to corporate and once I actually got hung up on when I was doing a three way call so the insurance company could hear this from the horses mouth( my bank) and they hung up on me. Another question they really couldn't answer and I got crickets when I asked was so if a nonpayment from a customer happens do you not send out a email or a phone call or a letter so that you give the customer a chance to make it right? I got crickets for a long pause then they would answer we sent you an email says so right here on this date( which the send to spam so you can't find) so its not our fault you can't see or find the email. I had gotten several other emails from allstate about spending points and using there app. yet they are inept to sending an email stating that you payment didn't go thru. how can corporate get it right but the agent doesn't?? sounds like a faulty agent or a team that doesn't know what is going on. I have never had a worse experience. I even went as far as calling corporate while I was at the bank so they could hear from the horses mouth that they never once tried to draw from my account and that no return of payment ever happened ( because I have overdraft coverage which wouldn't allow this to happen in the first place regardless if i had the funds or not) they simply said we cannot help you and you need to contact t your agent to settle this. which I responded to are you not suppose to fix and back up all agents that you underwrite or do business with. like they could make it right right there but they chose to not even ask my bank representative any questions. like maybe about overdraft on the account or any of the returns they said happened( which never did because someone has fat fingers and couldn't put in correct account info). left messages at there office no returns. I originally called the office and talk to someone that stated they were the office manager and when she couldn't or wouldn't answer my questions because I was loud and heated. I never once cussed at this person and they simple said you can call customer service where done here. I asked here to send me to Daniel Davis and was told I couldn't be in touch with him. never give this person money. a big waste of time and energy!!!! go somewhere for one they didn't sell there call centers to foreigners so you can actually talk to someone and be heard and can hear what the other is saying. I will never go back to them and I highly recommend you never do business with DAINIEL DAVIS OR ALLSTATE FOR THAT MATTER!!!! JUST REMEMBER THERE BUSINESS STATEMENT " YOUR IN GOOD HANDS WITH ALLSTATE" HA HA HA I HAVE NEVER DISAGREEED ON SOMETBONG SO BAD. do yourself and others around you a favor and never do business with them. this will save u

I really don't like leaving negative reviews but after leaving this branch on 11/12/2024 around…read more3:15pm I felt truly p*ssed off how I was treated. I will first start out by saying I have worked for a bank since 2008 and this also includes working in a public bank branch. Long story short my 80 year old father handed me his notarized paperwork to release title as he just paid his car off. He had called this branch and they explained he did NOT need to be present and that I could hand the paperwork in for him. I walk in and the younger female teller w multiple nose rings (didn't see name tag) in center basically told me it had to be notarized in the branch w their notary. As a former notary, I explained it can be notarized elsewhere as well as my dad is 80 and now lives in Berea and its difficult for him to drive all the way to Rocky River. Well, she didn't like me telling her this and basically told me it couldn't be done. I then just asked to speak with a manager or someone who could help simply take the paperwork to release title and hand it to me OR even mail it to my dad. Younger bearded male teller (didn't see name tag) actually seemed to be the only one who maybe wanted to help so he came out and started speaking with who I think might've been a manager but I couldn't who as they were behind a wall area to my right in the branch lobby. Same teller came out and said he was going to ask a personal banker what to do. I offered to hand him the three pieces of paper to take to the manager or personal banker...he didn't take them and walked into a side room for about 20 seconds. He comes out and says the banker overheard the conversation and there was nothing they could do as I wasn't on title with my dads car. Again, I was just attempting to drop off paperwork and they were completely unwilling to have someone come talk to me or offer any CORRECT solution. Truly awful customer service and they couldn't be bothered to help. Today, my father called the Lakewood branch and explained them the situation. They said to come to their branch and they would absolutely be able to help me. Do better for your customers Huntington Bank.

Why does a simple deposit take so long, compared to other banks? What are they doing back there? If you want to improve, be more responsive to your customers. Pick up the phone. Return calls promptly. And a deposit should take about one minute. But you have heard this before. You have no interest in improving.
