The men running it are SCAMS! I bought items and came back with the receipt and upon me heading out I gave the ticket and receipt back to him. He said he can't give me the 10 dollars because there was no timestamp on the ticket. I advised him he's the one that gave me the ticket with no timestamp, and I have the receipt with the time listed on there. He said no and I SHOULD have gave him the ticket before going in the store so he can add the time. after going back and forth a couple times I realized this is how they are making their money off of people. He did not add the time and nothing on the ticket said that was needed. I would never go back. I would avoid this store completely

But okay so this store has been around since the early 90's. I been here alot when I was a child but definitely never by choice. I have always been dragged here. The people working are rude. Starting with the security guard at the door. To the guy aggressively trying to sell us perfume and Cologne. Called us over to his counter like 5 times. Saying in Spanish "hey amigo ven aca y compra " which me hey friend come over here and buy. The first time we said no thanks .Then kept on insisting. The lady that helped us with a table cover was horrible. She didn't care for us or our needs. And the Elevator is a death trap stay away.

Closeouts, closeouts, and, oh yeah, more closeouts!…read more It's clear that this store has been around for a long time, and is still doing well. The first time I was here was when I was a toddler in the 90s, and now I'm old enough to see what they have, and yes I've been here a few times. This store has a huge clothing section, and limited selections of pajamas, slippers, undergarments, luggage, bath towels, table cloths, kitchen supplies, and shower curtains. Most of the areas were very organized, but the kitchen supply area was a little messy. But then again, I don't come here for that. So what do I come here for? It depends, but usually it's for pajamas, table cloths, and shower curtains. But I don't get all of them in one visit. Sure, I can get those anywhere, but why here? REALLY LOW PRICES. Other stores would charge higher for these items, including Wal*Mart, but because these are closeouts, you won't expect to spend A LOT on just one item. Regardless of brands and low pricing, I've never had a major issue with anything that I got here. Keep in mind that because this is a closeout store, what they have on the shelves and racks is all they've got. During my recent visit, I needed to see if they had any short-sleeved pajamas as mine were getting close to being worn out. But all I saw were the winter ones, and when I asked to see if they had any, they politely told me that what they receive and stock is all they've got. I was disappointed, but I understood. Maybe they'll have it next time or something. But I didn't walk out empty-handed though. I was able to get a new table cloth at a cool price since my old one was just way too out-dated. Customer service is always fine. Overall it's a really fine store. I will always stop here whenever I'm in the area, particularly when I'm coming back from Ikea or Jersey Gardens Mall via US 1 & 9.

Price tag is part of a trio of stores that sells off price boutique closeouts. The other two are Barney's bargain stores in Hillside and Bloomfield. They didn't call the Bayonne location Barney's because there was already another store called Barney's up on Avenue C. That store closed many years ago. Price tag and the other two locations have a rotating series of stock. Some weeks they have women's, some week they have men's, and sometimes they have Children's. You can get very expensive shoes and clothing at a discount.$200 SAS shoes? You can get them for $50 or less. They have lots of different brands and things change all the time. Sometimes, though, they get things that don't move very quickly. Today I saw some hilarious socks that were for New years 2000. Call them New vintage, I'm sure someone will pick them up. You can always count on Price tag when you need an evening bag, shoes, or a wallet. They tend to get a lot of those items. They are only open Thursday through Sunday. Some of the people who work there seem very disinterested, but the two Natalies who work on Sunday are the nicest. Check it out, you never know what you will find.

Wow if you love South American food or Caribbean Island food this store is most definitely for you!…read more I stumbled across this grocery store by accident. I thought I was going into the drug store for vitamins/minerals. Anyway they have every kind of packaged and canned food from the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, Columbia, El Salvador, Mexico and a few more Latin countries and islands. The produce section was loaded with so many of the above mentioned countries native vegetables and fruits. The refrigerated section also had a good variety of juices, milk products etc representing goodies from the above mentioned countries. Also I noticed a decent selection of authentic ethnic and commercial baked breads and yummy pastries :). Supremo also carries your typical American grocery goods. Unfortunately they do not have an actual department for hygiene, health care items, cold medicine, etc. There are no vitamins and minerals in the store. Once I found an English speaking employee he directed me to a small section on a wall with those tiny packets of aspirin, Tylenol and a few other misc health care products like a gas station would carry. Kind of strange because this grocery store is about medium size. The cleanliness of the grocery store was a little sub par but not filthy. It's fairly organized but the check out is slow. There are large posts surrounding the entire front of the store that prevented me from taking my shopping cart out to the parking lot. So shop light or go with someone to get your car because there were several transient/homeless people around the front of the store and walking through the parking lot. Btw there is a drug store right next door to Supremo. It's not related and the door is just a few feet away once you leave the post barrier area surrounding Supremo.
