Right…read morefrom the first meeting with Rob, discussing my vision of the project, I knew he was the right fit. He provided me with a quote, and hit the target spot on, even after having some surprises arising from dealing with a building from 1872. My biggest concern was that the addition would blend in flawlessly with the existing building, and when they started to remove the original brick they discovered it wasn't going to be reclaimable. Not sure who slept less over this issue, myself or Rob, but he contacted a restorative artist he knew, and before long, the addition blended in seamlessly with the old brick! With our business being sporadic, Rob was always willing to stop if we had a visitation or Service, and returned promptly when things were clear. His sub-contractors were all as skilled and accommodating as he was, and if he scheduled a contractor that couldn't show up, he'd find another who was as skilled and available to come when asked. Rob also was always willing to change or adjust what design we had previously set-up, even when I threw him some curve balls as far as the overall design. I found it amazing that some of the additions I asked for he made happen, even if we were beyond that point, he'd go back and change it to what I wanted. If you are looking for a truly competent crew for your renovation/addition/new build, I'd have no problem putting my reputation out there to suggest that you'd be hard pressed to find a better company than Ridgeline! I thought the work was too much for one person to handle but Dwight continued slugging away for 13 hours and finished the work. The stones we had put on our front stairs were failing after 15 years and there were a number of bricks starting to break down on our over 40 years old house. Since we are a corner lot our home is exposed on 3 sides and a lot of snow, ice and rain damage occurs. I was very impressed by this very personable young man and the work ethics and diligence he showed. His professional attitude towards the work and his constant double checking the alignment of the stairs and bricks with levels assured me everything was being done of the highest quality.

Martin said its ok to vent into the attic aslong as its close to a vent.everything was done at the same time not weeks after. He could not get the countertop straight so he said to get someone in which he paid for. The bad employee was while he was still working here. As for micromanaging i was at work mon-fri 8:30-6 so barely seen them and aggressively pulling on the plumbing lol. And thats not what leaked. The skylight was discussed and to studs as i was the one talking with him not my mother whom i take care of. He said he will even put cedar to box in the skylight to make it nice. As i said we got the contract after i asked why the bathrooms are not gutted. And says i would do damage to a done bathroom?what a joke anyways beware. Make sure you get everything in writing before you let him start. There is way better companies out there.im sure you can tell by the pics that the work he did was subpar grout,caulking etc.

Extremely Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience - Avoid!…read more My experience with Hamilton Home Services was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. I scheduled an appointment with the service provider and cleared my schedule in anticipation of the job. However, he did not show up at the scheduled time. I waited for over an hour, and only after I followed up did he casually mention that he wouldn't be coming -- no advance notice, When he finally responded with a quote after a week, I wasn't able to reply immediately as I was unwell and 7 months pregnant. Instead of showing any professionalism, he sent me a message accusing me of not being serious and told me not to use the site again unless I intended to respond on his timeline. I found his tone rude, uncalled for, and completely unprofessional. Instead of owning up to his own lack of commitment and delays, he flipped the blame and tried to shame me for not responding quickly enough, despite his own week-long silence. To top it off, when I voiced my concern, I received a sarcastic "have a great day" message that only further reflects his lack of basic customer respect. I don't care what "great reviews" he boasts about from other customers -- my experience was completely negative and I wouldn't recommend Hamilton Home Services to anyone. If this is how they treat customers -- especially someone whom they already inconvenienced by their no-show -- then they don't deserve to be in a customer-facing business. Save your time, energy, and dignity -- look elsewhere.
