The machinery was so fun to watch as staff prepared these delectable treats. We would watch with enthusiasm as the drill-like contraption mixed the ice cream with the custom flavors/items into it. The fish waffle-like cone was prepared effortlessly and added to the fun presentation of this frozen treat. The ice cream was thick and creamy. I really liked the texture and consistency. There were a couple of tables in the outdoor seating area with stringed lights. It was a a very relaxed welcoming space.

This was a lovely treat after lunch! I have been craving matcha for a while and figured this would be a good spot to order from. It's tucked away in a small shopping center, but it was the only business set up. Walking in, quiet, but the customer service was welcoming! They had the self-service kiosk (is this a common thing now??) on the side. I ordered a Lychee Refresher (has lemonade in it) and a Matcha Cheese Milk Tea. There is plenty of seating inside, and someone came in while I waited to work on their laptop. Our drinks were VERY GOOD. I am pretty picky about cheese teas, but I really loved the cheese topping with the matcha. It was a really good tang! I also tried my husband's Lychee Refresher - THAT was super good too. He drank his the whole drive home. We'll be back! I can't wait to try the rest of their menu

I'm an ice cream junkie and Dohmo did not disappoint! First of all, the place is clean, modern, bright and cheery. You can place an order at the counter or by using one of the two kiosks. There are two banners near the entry to help you decide the choice of ice cream and add-ins. Ordering was easy! My only issue was- not really a complaint - was the choice of music. I'm not a fan of K-pop, but I was able to tune it out after a few minutes. I had the vanilla ice cream with Oreo crumbles. I added a Nutella stuffed waffle. Delicious! The waffle was freshly made, slightly crispy outside and soft inside. Total $12 before tip. So pretty pricey but well worth the occasional treat!

This has to be one of my favorite ice cream spots this year! Make my own ice cream bowl is amazing. The place is beautiful on the inside and the service was amazing. Kiosk is easy for navigation and choosing what you want. Make sure to get you a tayaki!

I've been driving by this place for months and finally decided to stop by after having a craving for ice cream. When I arrived the outside was well lit and they even have a cute little sitting area outside with lights. This was my first time and I soon realized that they use a kiosk machine to order here which is awesome if you like that sort of thing. I settled on the raspberry ice cream option(can't remember the exact name) but I'm so glad I picked this. It was favorable and the wait for my order wasn't long. The young lady at the front was pleasant, kind, and sweet. I love that I live less than 5 miles away and will be back for a late night craving soon. Until next time...

Pretty yummy!!! Lots of creative options. Our order was done quickly and it tastes great. It didn't look exactly like the pics but very yummy. The place is pretty plain/bare, could use more decor or seating.

My friends and I stopped by Dohmo to check it out after dinner one evening. The inside of the store has a decent amount of seating and the concept of ice cream swirls is definitely intriguing! I ordered some taiyaki and a single scoop of chocolate. I thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate ice cream; it had little flecks of chocolate in it and was very rich and not too sweet. I also love red bean taiyaki and thought that the taiyaki were very good as well. It is a bit on the pricier side but is definitely a great option for dessert once in a while. The staff is very friendly and I look forward to coming back and trying other options sometime!

Our soft serve ice creams. I had strawberry and marshmallow.

The location is in a new development, so it feels a bit strange to be in this new shopping strip that feels out of place compared to the rest of Olive. However, the space inside is very inviting and makes sense for small and large groups or a date. You'll order from a screen, though the staff are willing to answer questions. They made the wrong dish for my friend, but she didn't mind. Ice cream is delicious and uniquely made by blending and then redistributing like soft serve. It takes a long time, so if it is busy, be prepared to wait! The Taiyaki is baked fresh and smells delicious. If I ate gluten, I'd be all about it! There aren't tang ice cream pre made combinations that are gluten free, so you'll have to make your own.

Love love love! So much care is put into each drink. I've never had anything I DIDN'T like at Dohmo. The owner always takes care to explain what things are and give recommendations. So happy to have such a lovely, clean, and bright shop close to home :)

I was very excited to try Dohmo in Olivette, and heard a lot of hype around its opening. I ordered the matcha ice cream topped with red beans, mochi bites, and I added a plain taiyaki. It was very good and there seems to be endless flavor/topping combos to try or create yourself as well. While this location is super cute and conveniently located, my bowl ended up being around $12, which felt pretty steep. Service was friendly enough, but with the order kiosks I really didn't have much interaction with the staff. I'd come back again, but with the price tag, it's a once in a while treat for me.

If you look too closely, you will notice that it's not exactly the cleanliest, there's not a lot of attention to detail in the atmosphere and someone is usually smoking downstairs which drifts up into the dining room and is quite unpleasant. I only really notice it when seated at a table that borders on the staircase. My favorites are the shrimp long noodles and they pour a nice sauce over it and cut it with scissors for you, the shrimp and chive fried dumplings that the server brings in the cart that rolls around and makes for you, the salt and pepper shrimp or calamari, the pickled cucumbers, & the duck. Service is always friendly although there is sometimes a language barrier. Parking can be tricky, but it's worth the effort.

We were in for an early lunch Sunday with that spring forward nonsense. And we loved picking things from the steamer cart and others. The flavors are awesome as are the textures. Different dumplings for different things and I got a few pics but missed others. I find the carts are great for meeting hunger where it is -- quick and can order as you eat rather than order all up front. Going with a bigger group is lots of fun for all the things you can try but even with just two of us a range of small plates really hits the spot. The cart folks check in often til you say no more for a while but appreciate that the owner also checks in.

I've been a regular at Cate Zone Chinese Café for a long time and usually go once or twice a month…read more I always order the crispy fish and mala tofu, and up until recently, I loved this place enough to justify a 30 minute drive. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed that. I went on Sunday, 11/23, the weekend before Thanksgiving. I worked from 6-3 that day and placed my usual order online around 1:00-1:30 pm for ASAP pickup so I could grab it before their lunch break. I even left work early to make it there. When I arrived around 2:40 pm, I was told my order wouldn't be ready until 5:00 pm and that I would have to come back. I showed them my order confirmation, which originally showed a pickup time around 2:50 pm. Even when I refreshed the website, it showed 3:30 pm, still nowhere near 5:00. The cashier, a young man, was dismissive and didn't seem to care at all that my time had been wasted or that the information given online didn't match what I was being told in person. This was extremely frustrating and honestly unacceptable, especially for a place I've been loyal to for so long. I wasted my time, left work early for nothing, and left without food. As much as I've loved Cate Zone in the past, this experience was enough to make me question whether I'll be returning.

However, I will tell you that Eddie turned it around. He was incredible. Sure, normally wait staff will tell you "oh yes great choice" so I asked if he would actually tell us if things were bad. Now, he didnt say anything was bad, but he did say he felt this other dish was better than what a person ordered because it had more flavor and yada yada. A honest man. Love to see that. Japanese Curry = Little spicy, but great flavor. Yum. Wagyu and bacon bao = amazing. Get it. Pork belly boa = a little dry, bummer. Fried shrimp boa = good. Fries = 100/10. Perfectly crispy. Amazing. Also a little thing, but the light on table had three different settings and I just really appreciated that. Treat yourself to this small restaurant tucked away in Clayton and go visit by boy Eddie.

We had reservations but it was so cold we went early praying that they had open seating. We were in luck the bar was open. Inside it was swanky, I liked the aesthetic. if you are looking for a place that's ultra private, this isnt it. but it would be an awesome date night. The bartender was welcoming and open. I was enthralled as they made the cocktails. They answered random questions and helped us picked something for our palate. I had the Paloma (Palo-Ho-HO-Ma) it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! i mean like go just to get one of those. Then i had the sweet chili popcorn tofu. That was also good. Next I had Tom Kha. Refreshing spicy creamy soup. almost licked the bowl. Then i chose three different bao sandwiches. chicken, the pork belly, and the shrimp tempura. All the sandwiches were great, but after all the food i ate i was so full i couldn't appreciate them like they deserved. Now all the food AND the drink was for $40.00 You see I gave them 5 stars. I usually don't do that and this was my first time at the establishment. The food was so good that I started talking to the persons next to me at the bar and looking at their food selection. I will definitely be back . Are you still reading this, why aren't you in the car driving there yet.
