In Jan 2018 I received an email from Laura Darling Law PLLC stating that I will receive a fine in the mail, with no explanation of what the fine is for. Since January I have attempted to contact this law office via phone and email many times. I have left several voicemails and sent several emails, all are unanswered. To date, there has been no contact from the lawyer and we are entering the 4th month since the lawyer received full payment for services.

I sold my house in New York recently, and need a lawyer for the closing. I wasn't thrilled with…read morethe real estate agent I had used to buy the house, and the lawyer I used seemed to be closely tied to him. For that reason when I was selling my house, I asked the agent, who I had a very good experience with, to refer me to a lawyer for the closing. He referred me to Pat Fiore at a very reasonable fixed price. The closing ground work started smoothly, and I flew out of state to start my new job. However, once I had left NY, issue began to arise. We needed some documentation from the previous close in 2012 that I did not have. Pam, who works with Pat, was fantastic about aggressively trying to track that paperwork down. By the time I called the previous attorney for the first time, their receptionist was already well aware of what I was looking for. My previous attorney was not able to get the paperwork we needed as quickly as I would have liked because it was in his off-site storage. Pat Fiore called me and was very clear and honest about what the different outcomes and options were, based on when and if we could get that paperwork. He advised me not to do anything with escrow, and postpone the closing he had already done all of his work for. Pat dealt with the buyer's attorney, who was dealing with an irate buyer after we pushed back the close date, and my previous attorney while providing me great council and service. While we did get the paper around 5PM the day before the close, Pat had already decide not to go forward with the close being handled by a paralegal, based on all the potential landmines he saw. We closed a week later than originally planned, but everything went smoothly and without a hitch. Pat and Pam definitely went above and beyond in working hard and providing great council, and I was very impressed with them. I had multiple conversations with Pat, and they never felt rushed or stressed. He was thorough, thoughtful and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pat Fiore based on my experience working him.
