Excellent service! My mothers dog had his girls experience here and we were a bit nervous how he would react. The person who help him was Diana. She treated him him with love and compassion as he is a bit unsure of strangers Diana was right away the best match for him. She did a wash, hair cut and nail trim Solovino was a happier dog after seeing her and he has his guard down a bit more. I would recommend this place 100% and will go back again. * TAKE YOUR PET SOMEWHERE ELSE* Took my puppy for her first trim and as soon as i walked in it smelled like cigarettes, took a solid 20 minutes to be helped before & after her cut. When i came back to pick my furbaby up, i overheard one of the employees yelling at the dogs very harshly. I could not wait to pick her up and take her somewhere else. The trim was nice but the treatment was awful. Dogs are at higher risk for cancer than we are if inhaling/smelling cigarette smoke!!! read more

I take both of my babies here for cuts and grooming. The two ladies there are just the kindest. One of them even always asks how my hazel is because she had lost her babies last year and she always makes sure she's okay and asks about her. They leave my babies always looking super cute. they let me know whenever they have any fleas or ticks. Love this place ! read more

FYI Don't take your dog to **Doggone Salon in Atwater *** Our dog was crying when we arrived and the first worker didn't even acknowledge us walking in (rude) and the girl that helped us shouts out to my dog to shut up right in front of us. Most of us dog lovers treat our pets like there our children and if you are in the dog grooming business you should be treating our pets with care and kindness. And when we arrived at home our pet was was acting strange and was in a corner shaking so we check her out and also realized she had cuts from the grooming they did. Who knows what went on at that salon. read more

Took me a long time to find a groomer that would deal with my guy. He is a great dog, but it seems that no one wanted to deal with a large dog. Don't want to talk bad about anyone as I was never actually a customer so I won't name names! But the girls at Doggone were very friendly. I called their number after seeing an ad on facebook. I asked about their policies on large dogs and specifically Pits. Katy answered and was very friendly. Told me to bring him on down anytime. I was surprised that she was so nice after I said he was a pit bull. I took him in on 5/14/14 around 9 and he was ready to go at 10:30. Not much to do on him, just a bath and his nails. He smelled great and seemed to love the girls there. He gave everyone kisses they said. Highly recommend. Very friendly girls. read more

Walked in and place looked skiddish, smelled bad and they don't require a rabies certificate (doesn't sound safe). When I walked in, they claimed they were extremely busy, yet there were 3 people there sitting around. Go figure! Definitely won't be going there. read more

Very reasonable prices! Customer service was great. The 3 stars is for the fact that they had kittens walking around freely, clipped but did not sand my dogs nails so they were jaggedly sharp, and they use regular nail polish on the dogs. There are chemicals that are unsafe to eat in those that dogs can ingest while chewing or licking on their feet. I would recommend bringing your own doggy nail polish if you want them to do that service. I've found clearanced dog safe polish at michaels multiple times for 50 cents! read more
