I went to DOGFATHERS this afternoon. I ordered a MANGO SMOOTHIE. It was absolutely delicious!! The gal that took my order was so nice and pleasant!! I can't wait to go back and try a hot dog, chili Fritos, or something else. I would definitely recommend this food establishment. read more

Dogfathers - DELICIOUS MANGO SMOOTHIE - Street Vendors Near Me - Lompoc, California

Good hot dogs and quick service. Nice outside bench seats. Nice way to spend your last dollars after shopping at Home Depot.

Just don't. Seriously, drive down the street to Foster Freeze and avoid this place. TRUST me. Some businesses actually want patrons to come in droves but this place wants ONLY CERTAIN patrons to buy their dogs. Really sad because if you're in a wheelchair and/or disabled; you'll be ignored. read more

I go to Home Depot in Lompoc like once every 2 weeks to work on the Self-Checkouts and I always see the hot dog stand, well one day I was hungry so after completing a job I was hungry, so I ordered a dog with sourkraut, onions, mustard and relish, it was pretty good. The bun was hot and the dog was long. I also got a fountain drink and bag of chips. The meal hit the spot. The lady was nice and I'll most likely be back. read more

Beth at Dogfather's has the best customer service in Lompoc! I'm 8 months pregnant and was having trouble waddling across the way to get from my car to the stand. She patiently waited for me (5 mins after closing time!), then she was completely willing to make me a snowcone at the last moment. My daughter noticed a root beer flavor and Beth offered her a "Root beer Italian soda". My kid said "it's like heaven in a cup!!" But aside from the hot dogs, coffees, pretzels, snowcones, etc, it's the kind faces behind the window that make this place a great stop on a busy day!! read more

I have enjoyed their hotdogs and condiments. I do wish the hot dogs were not just microwaved, but they are of high quality. Service is good and prompt. They have a couple of tables to sit, but most come by for pick up. read more

Dogfathers is located in front of Home Depot. I didn't expect anything great from this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. The Cajun dog with onions and jalapeños was the best hotdog I have ever had. It's super spicy so be warned. The only other place I could compare to this was in Hawaii. read more

The Midwest Dog. Need I say more? No, great food and even better service. Best Hot dogs. Love taking my Kid.

Convenient hot dog stand in front of Lompoc's Home Depot. I got the Dogfather (the dog that snaps when u bite into it) -- tasty. They also offer Polish, Hebrew and brats. Bun was fresh, and they provide a generous amount of onions and relish (kraut is also offered). Hotdog and a bottled water under $5 -- happy customer. Cheers! RS read more

So bummed this placed changed owners or changed how they make their frappes. I used to love their frappes, way better than a lot in town. But recently went & the lady must not know how to make them or something. Not blended enough, a bunch of ice chunks, a watered down taste, and in a way smaller cup all for $6! No thanks, not going there anymore. read more

Super awesome place the customer service is amazing super sweet lady's working their, and extremely convent I go every time I'm working Lompoc and pick up materials from Home Depot. Highly recommend you eat their, and my favorite is the cowboy dog read more

Good traditional hot dogs! Always friendly always fast. Definitely does not taste cheap!

First part of a restaurant is customer service, Well this joint has none. I was discriminated by the woman working there. I asked if they use lard in their beans? She said "She did not not know". She said she got them from another restaurant. So I thought why not call them? There was only one person waiting behind me and she said as I was asking her what was vegetarian? "Can you please step out of line"? I said "sure". I will never go back again. What horrible service. I was treated with such disrespect. Definitely, I do not recommend. read more

Great dogs and even better customer service. Already a repeat customer. Their Honeydew smoothie is awesome.

Conveniently location for Home Depot shoppers. I like to grab a meal there after I stock up for the day's home improvement projects. This hut has a good variety of food, including hot dogs, breakfast burritos, smoothies, coffees, pastries. Very friendly staff. Try the honeydew smoothie, it's tasty. read more

I was looking for a quick lunch with good food and I decided to try Dogfathers. It was delicious. Well worth the money. I got a hot dog on a bun which wasn't just a normal hot dog bun. It was good!! They put just the right amount of ketchup and mustard on the dog. The staff was super nice. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good quick lunch. read more

Thank you Beth, from Dogfather's Hot Dogs. Your Cajun Polish Sauge dog was great and so was your customer service

We had been wanting to try this place and finally decided to try it. We stood and waited right in front of the order window. The guy working ignored us completely because he was playing with his phone. Needless to say we just walked away instead of trying it. We waited for about 4 minutes and he didn't even acknowledge us or look up! read more

Our first time there. Excellent, cheerful service. Big, high-quality hot dogs. I had the Southern. My wife had the Polish Sausage. Picnic tables were clean and convenient. We'll certainly go back. read more

I'm allowing for two stars simply because the food is decent (for a hot dog stand) when you actually get it. However, 75% of the time, when I've tried, they were closed during their posted business hours. When they are actually there, they are rude, and there is always some sort of issue. Their card reader isn't working and they are only taking cash, except they don't post a sign, or tell you so, until they have completely taken your order and wasted your time. They are always out of a handful of stuff. They get things wrong. It's just not a pleasant experience. Save yourself the trouble and frustration. read more

At 425 pm I Specifically asked what time DogFathers closed, she replied 5pm. so I ran into home depot really fast, at 440pm I returned to Dogfathers with a CLOSED sign on front, with young blonde girl on phone. Excited to get my hot dog, I waited until she was off. The girl then replied at 442pm, that she had to close early. After I literally just asked her 10 mins prior. Very very disapointed . Looks like she didnt feel like working. read more

I am so not the connoisseur when it comes to hot dogs. It is very rare that I have a hankering for one, and the one I get has to be beef. This "stand" sits in the Lompoc Home Depot Parking Lot. Still learning my way around, I was happy to have found this place. Famished and frustrated after an annoying ordeal at Home Depot, I got a meal that was of high quality and a small price tag, had a nice conversation with the lady who waited on me (I want to think she's the owner), and may have to find an excuse to go to Home Depot so I can pop in for a dog... read more

Way to expensive for a small hotdog stand. Not about to pay $16 for 2 dogs with chilly. Also the menu is wrong on pricing. When I asked about why they told me more then the menu price they said it was changed almost 2 months ago. Honestly that is way too long to go without changing your menu board. Also the menu says chilly & cheese $1 but actually each have a separate price and you don't get both chilly and cheese for the $1. I cancelled my order after they wasnted to charge me more then the menu shows. What the menu shows is already too pricy and then it ends up being way more. Too bad there isn't another hotdog place in town since I won't pay the steep prices. read more
