They make sure that meds are given exactly as prescribed. They exercise and socialize animals 2-3 times daily in a common area. When we arrived a day early from our vacation it didn't cause any stress or issues. Both pets were given baths and nail trims on pickup day. With advance notification our neighbor was allowed to see our fur babies twice in our absence. It made the entire stay much better for our babies! There is a reason that Uptown Paws is number one in the Wiregrass Area. They are simply the very best dog daycare facility we have ever boarded our fur babies at! We are from Virginia originally. We could not find anyone to care for the puppy until we ran across these people :-) the doctor on call was eager to help. She could not give us a definite answer on how our puppy would be but she was very straightforward on the price and the care. We okayed it for her to do x-rays and what she could do given that she had no staff on hand for emergency surgery. She was very honest and stating that she had no one to stay the night with the puppy. She gave us medicine and we brought the puppy home. Everyone prayed extremely hard and now our puppy is up and walking! God is so good! I recommend this business for sure! She did what she could with what she had and was very honest with us. We are going home tomorrow and we feel confident that our puppy will make it!

Not Dog People at all!…read more I told them when I booked our appointment that this was my German Shepherd puppy's very first grooming experience. They accepted my appointment request and when I got there, they were annoyed that I wanted to stay to reassure my puppy on her first visit and if everything went well then, the next visit, I would leave her. So, someone came in while my puppy was getting a bath and she barked, oddly enough dogs do bark.... So, the person that walked in complained that they feared for their life when they heard my puppy bark. So, long story short, I was told we were not welcome back. I don't know what's really going on here, but I do know, if these people knew anything about dogs, they would know that they do indeed bark. However, I think it's more than just a few barks, I think they were upset that I wouldn't leave my puppy in their care unattended by me. Makes me wonder, all the dogs in there at the time of our appointment, looked timid, very sad and distrusting. I would NEVER leave any of my dogs with these people.
