After discovering that our Papillon had excessive tarter and swollen gums we chose A Dog Days Delight non-anesthetic teeth cleaning service to clean his teeth. The vet offered to clean them using anesthesia but we did not want to expose him to the harsh drugs. Patrick did a phenomenal job. The teeth and gums look amazing. When we picked him up we could tell that he had been treated gently and the experience was not too traumatic for him. Patrick shared pictures of the process. Finally, the cost was less than half of the cost of vet's estimate. I recommend the non anesthetic teeth cleaning at A Dog Days Delight WITHOUT RESERVATION! read more

Great grooming, no cages, reasonable prices. What's not to like. in fact, my pup loves going there!

We have had Bichons for over 20 years. Just brought our two dogs here for the first time. Without a doubt this was the best cuts they have ever received. They were way over due for grooming and the one dog lives to get petted so he tends to get matted. Both dogs cuts were perfect. They usually come back with straggly ends but today they had none. Will definitely bring them back there. read more

I brought in my Newfoundland who needed a blow out, trimming, and needed lots of matting removed from moving and not being able to find a groomer who took big dogs. I was so impressed and happy with pricing and her care with my baby! Would Highly recommend and will be returning in 3 months. Glad I found her and she took her time not stressing my big boy out! read more

After reading the reviews and myself as an advanced level healthcare provider-I was skeptical.I first learned about Nicole though a patient who told me about the non-sedated canine teeth cleaning that she performs.I decided to give her a try because my precious pup is 14 years old and I did not want to subject him to anesthesia if unnecessary.Nicole was amazing! She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is talking about.I found her warm and kind to my pup and he actually liked her.She also did an excellent job grooming him! I think it sad that some people use this platform to complain about fees and staffing issues. These are level entry jobs and typically very transient.Immediately after my first visit-I booked the next one. I'd give a million star review if I could! read more

I have had dogs in my family for many years, and have used multiple groomers in SW Florida. I have had two Miniature Schnauzers and they have a unique cut, which not many groomers seem to get right. I have had groomers cut my dog badly without even a call to tell me and have also had my dog come back to me with razor burns, both requiring expensive vet visits. Nicole does a fantastic job and when I pick up my dog he is always happy and looks great! Everyone there seems to truly love the animals. I won't be taking my best friend anywhere else, and I highly recommend them. read more

We have taken our two large dogs there many times and couldn't be happier. We've used pet sitters before and were left really unhappy. I was really hesitant to use a boarding place because they are usually left in kennels and alone overnight. Not here!!!! They do a have few kennels in the back for emergencies but we love the way it's set up! There's 3 rooms with half doors, dogs are grouped by how they get along and socialoze, energy levels etc. There's couches, chairs and beds for the dogs to lounge on. There is even an office setup so someone can sit back there with the dogs while they work and someone stays there with them overnight! The best part is they upload pics on their Facebook so you can check in while you're away. They definitely take the time to get to know your dogs and their different personalities. Our dogs are very different from each other and they pay attention so well, once we accidentally mixed up their collars with their tags and they knew the dogs well enough to catch it! We usually call half way through our trip to check on them and you can tell by how the speak about them that they know their habits and quirks very well. They get taken out quite often and get lots of play time. Any time we can't take them with us this is our go to place. So happy we found this place! read more

This place is a perfect example of bad business and unprofessionalism. Prior to posting this, I have read several of Dog Days Delight's other reviews and made two interesting and disturbing discoveries: 1. There rating is boosted because the owner's daughter is writing reviews; 2. Anytime someone has anything negative to say, the owner replies and calls them a liar. I'm sure that I will be called a liar too, but I assure you I'm not. I help a close friend take care of his dogs when he's away at work. Often, I have taken his dogs to the groomers. Dog Day's Delight location is out of our way, but my friend insisted on going there because he likes the owner. We have been taking multiple dogs there for quite some time and my friend has referred many new customers to them. During the last few visits, I noticed that service had slightly declined. There seems to be a constant turnover of the staff, which may be partially to blame. The dogs weren't being groomed correctly, but they would fix it. They were also taking an excessively long time to complete the job. I had to cancel plans one evening because it took them 2 extra hours than promised, making it a total of 7 hours. I suggested going somewhere else, but my friend insisted that he liked the owner so much. Things got worse. I took in one of his dogs that has been there many times. We always paid $50. There was a different groomer there that day; she got a little sarcastic about the price when I brought the dog in, due to her size, not condition. However, it was agreed that it was $50. When I picked her up, they told me $60 because she was dirty and matted. I told them that they needed to call me before doing services if it was going to be more and that we always paid $50 and the dog was always in the same condition. They are groomers, it is there job to wash the dog and trim their fur. The girl at the desk agreed to accept $50. I had to ask for bows (which are normally included) and she never got the bandana. Just recently, I called to make an appointment for another dog. I was told that I owed $10 and had to pay up front for services. I explained to the girl on the phone that it was resolved last time. She was rude to me and I told her we would take our services elsewhere. My friend asked me to call back and speak to the owner. I spoke with the daughter, who was extremely rude. Told me that they had to pay $12 to sharpen theirs clippers and that we should be lucky that they were only charging us $10. I'm a business major; I can tell you for a fact that this is just a business expense and a tax write-off. She also tried to argue that the hairdresser would charge me more if I had gum in my hair. I agreed, but explained that I would be informed of the price beforehand. She said that is because I would be there. Um hello, we have phones. They have my number. Call me. I would get a call if my car needed extra work before performing extra services. She also told me that I cursed that other girl, which I did not and then called me a liar. I asked to speak to her mom, the owner. Sarcastically she say, "Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this". Before she puts her mom on the phone, I can hear her telling her mom her version of the story. This is very unprofessional...put me on hold first. The owner gets on and does not let me say a word. She told me to never come back. Sounds like a great idea to me. They lost good customers over $10. read more

I've been taking my Yorkie there for years and now my Beagle Mix and I've never had a problem. I don't even need to ask for Nicole because they remember every time. They always do a great job and my boys are always happy and healthy. I love that they are cageless and that the pups can run around. My boys are naturally timid and afraid but the moment I pick them up, it's like nothing ever happened. Their prices are also fair and I never feel like I'm paying too much. Definitely recommend them! read more

I have been bringing my fur baby to Dog Days Delight since we moved to Florida 7 years ago. I have never had an issue with any service and the owner, Nichole, and her mother are very attentive, kind, helpful and knowledgeable about everything. Will continue to bring my baby here as long as I live in the area. read more

Very unprofessional service. Would not recommend! Place is dirty and has an odor. There is no place for your dog to stretch its legs. Staff complains about the other staff, and working there in general. Not a good atmosphere. Wouldn't even give one star but you have to in order to post the review. read more

Took my dog to be groomed and asked for a puppy cut. He was completely shaved when I returned. The worst part was that he was in pain. For about two weeks he would whine off and on, pretty much refused to walk or go potty until he couldn't hold it any longer. I felt horrible that I subjected him to such an AWFUL place! They may be the fastest place around, but I'd rather have my dog spend a couple hours somewhere and not be traumatized after. My suggestion is NEVER EVER go to this place!!! read more

Picked up my cock-a-poo and was told he had some skin tags that may have been cut during grooming. He cowered all evening and limped. He leg was cut more seriously than I thought but he was fine the next day. Of 3 groomers I have used, none cut him and he always jumped around after coming home. A call only resulted in excuses with an offer for a free bath. Never will bring him back for anything. read more

RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!! This is my experience and I hope to help others that read this. I traveled about one hour to have my Yorkie groomed here usually with no problems and was very happy for the most part. Then my last visit I had a groomer tell me that my dog tried to escape during this visit. I was in a hurry when I picked her up so I didn't think much about it until She started limping on her back leg. I examined it and noticed her nails were cut extra short this time but that was all I could see. I called the groomers to get more details about what happened in detail as her limping was not normal and started after her grooming apt. They sold me some vitamins and told me it should help. After 2 months of this, she never showed any sign of healing so I called again for help. This was not the response I expected...... I had to talk through another groomer to the owner "Nicole" as she was too busy to talk to me! To make things worse they did not want to send her to a vet to see what was wrong with her leg because they would be admitting fault. They tried to put the blame on me and would not do the right thing. This call ended with them hanging up on me! Really....... I was also told by a source that would rather not be identified that the groomers smoke and groom the dogs in the back room where the customers can't see. This source tells me they would NEVER take their pet to this place under the dirty and unprofessional conditions. There is so much more I could say but I'm sure you get it? PLEASE KEEP YOUR PET'S SAFETY IN MIND AND STAY AWAY. read more

Took my dog there and what a mess. This place smells and is dirty. They lock your dog in a room with other dogs and the workers were smoking cigarettes. We only left my dog for 30 minutes went back to pick her up and had to give her a bath as soon as we got home. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . The only thing professional is their website which is all a cover. read more

This place is horrible please don't go there they kept my dog for more than 5 hours and charged us $20 extra bite fee when my dog has never bitten any groomer he's ever been too. The groomer had no scratches on her and claimed our dog tried bite her face. There was no bite or even scratch. We had initially agreed to pay $40 after 3 hours we called and asked if he was done. And they told us our dog was having trouble with snapping, so they were giving him a break they had never told us about an extra biting fee. We had to ask multiple times for our dog back. Since my dogs birthday is tomorrow after we went to a small pet store and was trying to find him a toy and someone told us this is there Second building and they had moved so that they could have a nicer building and people would think this has never happened to them. But at their old building they had let a dog killed another dog and when the people came back for their dog they said that it died of natural causes. Their old building always smelled like cigarettes. When those people took their dog to the vet, The vet said that the dog had puncture wounds from another dog. By that moment I was just so happy I got my dog back not hurt. Immediately went to another groomer and started talking with them they immediately said he was uneven and you could see his paws were not even either they shave different parts of him too much and it was not a good place and not a good experience. Please please please don't ever go here. All the good reviews are written by people that work there. And the women before us was mad about her dog to and her dog didn't look good either. This is the third time we had been there and their service was just declining and declining and declining they did more worse of a job The more we were talking to them the more sarcastic and mean they were getting towards us so we decided to just take our dog and leave. Just please don't ever go here. Go anywhere else. I would give this place zero stars if I could. THEY ARE AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We've been using A Dog Day's Delight for periodic boarding of our rescue Weimaraner for several years after a friend recommended. Always happy. Our girl was skittish around every one she met when we got her and she has come completely out of her shell. I believe a large part of that is due to the social interaction she has with the other dogs when she stays here. We love this place and trust them with our baby girl. She gets so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot and can't wait to get in the back and play! read more

We've been taking our shih tzu to Dog Days Delight for over 2 years. He loves coming to be pampered & groomed. I have nothing but praise for the groomers at Dog Days Delight! read more

They did the best job on my dogs. The groomer spoke with me before and after. Couldn't be more please with them.

My husband and I went to check out the facility to see about boarding our 2 dogs while we were going to be away for 10 days. Our dogs are our children as most are to their owner. We asked if we can be shown around the facility. One of the workers said sure so she took us in the back with our dogs. Right in the middle of asking questions, over the loud speaker a voice came and called the worker by name and told her to "wrap it up with them". We asked the girl who that was, she said it was the owner. So we were rushed our and not able to finish asking questions or checking out the rest of the facilities. With a owner like this, we would NEVER allow our dogs to board or anything to do with this place. In my opinion the owner is more concerned with the $ than us finishing our discussion about the care of our pets. Plus from what we seen the boarding facility was not kept up, dirty and the sheets on the furniture where the pets sleep needed to be washed days ago. Absolutely AWEFUL !!, no star rating here . read more
