We purchased a vehicle in May 2019. Dealership did not provide the lien release when purchased. They provided once we asked about it. Next, they added on a warranty that was neither asked for nor explained other than "you need it" and "it covers everything". Took it in to the local dealership for a repair and guess what. Doenges Toyota Hello there, I would highly recommend that you make sure what you want before you buy from them! Tomas Roach tried to sell me Toyota Corolla IM and told me that my car had heated seats. Which it did not after I had bought the car. I was mislead and these guy really got me mad! I refrain from cussing this man out because I was so mad ! The first week after I bought my car, the car adapter which Toyota provide for the cell phone burn my phone S7 and the adapter and wire. I took in for service and never got an good explanation as to why this happen! Furthermore I had to continue to contact them and try and find out what exactly happened! For god sakes this is a brand new car! I believe the management there at Dungeness is very poor! Another issue was that finance company was never contact until almost my payment was due!I had to be assertive to make sure that the finance company was contacted before my payment was due.I was told by the Toyota finance department that another department didn't do their job. I would do your research very thoroughly before you even walk into this building! Or look for a better Toyota dealership that will stand behind their Word! Awful experience today. We purchased tires for life at Doenges Toyota and had a tire that needed changed. The tire was severely damaged and the service department (large, bald man) told my wife that they would not be changing the tire and literally told her to leave!!! I was on the phone with her at this time and was baffled at his rudeness. We simply want to be safe. We will no longer be using or recommending Doenges Toyota. They do not honor what you pay for and don't hesitate to treat you like trash. I would give them a zero if I could. If you want a Toyota you might as well go to Fowler Toyota in Tulsa at least they are helpful. read more

Service recommended a tire alignment with no tire wear sign of need, recommended a major $2000 engine gasket replacement for an oil leak I don't see after four months of level checks after every fill up and no signs of any fluid leak in the garage. Saw them tell another customer they also had an oil leak that they should repair on the same visit... Draw your own conclusions, I have mine. I have a 2011 Tundra I bought there. read more

I was in Bartlesville visiting family, and needed the master key PIN for the door locks. They wanted to charge me $60 for 15 minutes to connect my car to their service computer. In Dallas, dealerships do this same service for free. So I have to wait until I get back home to retrieve my PIN. Sad. read more

The service at this dealership has really gone downhill. I took my 1989 Ford F-150 here for an oil change. Next day, huge oil leak. The filter was half way on and the bolt in the oil pan was over tight causing it to strip. Not even an I'm sorry, can we help you fix it from the dealership. Had an appointment at 7:30a to get a tire rotation done on my Camry. It shouldn't take over and he to do a tire rotation. Try to spend money locally when I can but I don't have 2 hrs to waste on a 20 min job. Guess I will be going back to Fowler to get my service work done. read more

Because of the dealerships response to my original review, I decided to give them another chance and took both my cars in for an oil change on Friday. My experiece was actually worse than the last time. 1) I was told my vehicles would be done by "end of day" but they refused to be more specific..only that they would call me. I called at 5PM and was told that they closed early. One of the back office personnel (Michelle) was able to locate my car for me but it took almost 20 minutes. This is the second time this has happened. 2) One car was supposed to get synthetic oil per the warranty and one needed standard oil. The window sticker for the car that supposedly got synthetic showed next oil change due in 5000 miles or 4 months. The non-synthetic sticker showed 10,000 miles or 2 months. My first thought was that they got the stickers switched but then realized that the numbers would be wrong regardless of the car the sticker was on as the Toyota maintence schedule calls for 5,000 miles or 6 months. The switch theory also goes away when you realize they only had one car at a time. The question then becomes, did they just typo the stickers or did they typo the stickers and put the wrong oil in each car? I have no way of knowing. Why should I trust this company with my vehicles (or believe they did the services they charged me for), if the service department cannot do something as simple as properly prepare an oil change window sticker? In short, I believe that this service department has serious issues in regards to customer service, quality control, and technician training. Because of this I do not feel safe putting my vehicles, and potentially my families safety, in their hands. read more

I don't recommend this showroom to anyone, this is one of the worst place to have your car serviced. I have moved from Overland Park to Bartlesville recently and last time when I was been Toyota showroom at Overland Park, I was been told to have my car serviced to replace parts which are covered under warranty. I have booked a service to this showroom 3 times to have my work done... 1st time - When I have reached they said we are full for the day. My question is If you guy's are having enough workload why you have asked me to come? 2nd time - They said we are running out of parts. They were already knowing what repairing my car needs and what parts they are going to replaced, my question is why they haven't ordered the parts well in advance? 3rd time - They asked me to wait for 3-4 hours to have worked done... After 4 hours they have started working on my car and within 20 mins they have completed all the work.... You can imagine quality of work they have delivered. Your time is of NO value to them, this how you been treated. From my personal experience I wouldn't even recommend buying toyota car. If I have to buy a new car I would never buy toyota brand again... I am not happy with customer service toyota showroom offers and also car quality is not good at all... On Saturday April 25, 20015 while looking for a first car for my daughter I drove 2 hours and stopped at Doenges in Bartlesville. They had a recent trade-in we thought was right and the asking price was $6,900. The manager (very rude even to his BLACK salesman ) said he would take $6,900. He said it hadn't been run through their safety checking system yet but "I said I would take $6,900 for it so that's what I'll take". Last year, I got an oil change from Doenges and the next service place that changed my oil was unable to take the cap off because it was so tight. I talked to one of the manager's and she offered an apology and gave me a free oil change - saying the technician that worked on my car had been fired for whatever reasons. This same problem just happened to me again! This time, the oil filter cap broke and I was charged $60 for a replacement. Called up Doenges and they won't refund it, saying they have a "special wrench" that can take it off fine. Why would you have a tool that hardly anyone else has, where this problem is going to reoccur often with many different people? Very bad service and management. I'm only giving it 1 star because the only thing they did right was my oil change. I needed new tires. I went to Doenges in May of 2019. I was told multiple times by their front service cashier, Olivia, that these exact tires were covered by road hazard warranty. And she AGAIN told me this when I was getting in my car to leave with the four new tires on my car. She also told me that as long as I went to Doenges it would be covered. Fastforward to today, March 13 of 2020. My tire is needing to be aired up twice a week. I go to Doenges after I get off work. I just wanted them to patch my tire. ONLY to find out that there are MULTIPLE small holes in it and they're not able to patch, or fix it. They REFUSED. They gave me a price for ONE new tire instead. When I asked about my warranty they couldn't even pull up my receipt from the sale of the tires. They only were able to look at the part with the part Humber, as I'm told by Megan and Rich. Now I'm doing to have to buy ANOTHER tire for my car when the new tires are still NEW! IM FURIOUS! But don't take into account the fact that I was TOLD that I had the warranty before I drove off their lot. And now they're saying that they didn't get my tires from a Toyota supplier and only Toyota vendor supplied tires are covered . I'm outraged, beyond livid. I will NEVER go back to Doenges. You have literally lost a customer. First of all, honesty is best. And if you can't honor what you tell customers what makes us think that you're being honest with your work? I will not be recommending this Toyota to anyone. Also, I have family who work in multiple Toyotas. So there's that. I will be taking my car and my business elsewhere. What. A. Disgrace. Absolutely horrible. I have been a customer for quite a while and when I decided to buy a new car, I decided to go here. I knew what car I wanted and the car sales people were great! I got the car of my dreams. I have had my car for two years and it has been a great car. I have continued to give Doenges my business for these two years doing routine maintenance on my car. Everything was great and so smooth. And then, they built the new Toyota Service Center. I have had my car in for routine maintenance twice since the new building was functional. BOTH times, they have not called me when my car is ready as they had said they would (this second time she even wrote it on my service sheet). The first time I was waiting and waiting and called around 5:30 to see if it was ready. They said it was and I could come get it. Okay, I'll chalk that up to 'they just forgot'. No worries, all is well. This time, I dropped my car off later than normal, around 2:30-3:00pm so I thought it might take a little while. After waiting and waiting, about 5:45, I checked online to see what time they close, I was worried because I had to be at an appointment out of town at 6am the next day and wanted to make sure I'd have my car. Online it said that they close at 7pm so I thought "Hey, it's later than usual but I dropped it off later than usual. So finally after I had not heard from them by 6:30pm, I called. They said they closed at 6pm. I explain that I had not been called and the only manager that was on duty was the "finance manager". He told me I would have to wait until tomorrow at 7am and someone would call me. I was very peturbed and was trying to explain that I needed my car for an appointment tomorrow morning. He talked over me and so then I hung up the phone. The next morning around 7:15, I finally received a call, my car was ready! They however, did not notice that my car was no longer there. The night before, I had taken my spare key and gotten my car. So let me get this straight, You can keep MY car overnight and call me when it's ready in the morning and not know that its no longer there??? What kind of place is this??? Why wasn't I called the night before? Why? It's just so crazy to me. I went in today around 2:30 after I got back in town to go by and pay my bill (since I had my car already). I got nothing, the serviceman that was working the counter just said, "yes, yes, yes" to what questions I asked. I asked to speak to the manager and he said she wasn't there. I said I would send an email out. He said "Okay". I am scared to take my car there anymore. If I could have it the way it use to be, that was great! Unfortunately when they opened up the Toyota side, Customer Service and attitudes went down. When I buy my next car, I will probably make the trip up to Tulsa in order to avoid this dealership if things don't change. And that's sad, because for generations, my family has bought vehicle from them and had our cars serviced there. Very Disappointed, please fix. read more
