All of the work had already been completed except for modifying my deture to connect with my 2 implanted posts. I did not have the work completed at the office due to the high cost. The office was not covered under my Delta Dental Insurance so 100% of the cost was coming out of my pocket. My husband and I are seniors with many health problems and simply could not afford the high cost. On my last office visit, I paid the office $2000 for the future work to be done. When I found out my insurance was not going to cover any of the costs, as first told to me by the office, I requested a detailed invoice for any current charges and a refund for the money that was left. Two months later, I have yet to see either one. The staff continues to give me the run around, "we have to talk to the doctor ", "its been mailed", and so forth. I can't get my $2000 back and in these days of very high living costs, it HURTS! My husband and I need our $$$$ back!

Although there are urgent care facilities closer to me, this IU Health has been the most accommodating and professional.

My insurance covered this appointment because he was seeing me for a certain condition and weight loss. If I saw him for just weight loss, my insurance would not have covered that.
