The front desk confirmed everything was complete before I left. On May 5, 2025, I received a text from billing claiming I owed an additional $80 for the visit, citing my "self-pay" status. This unexpected charge, after paying the quoted fee, feels shady and unprofessional. Charging an additional $80 weeks later, despite my clear disclosure of self-pay status and confirmation of the $100 fee twice--once over the phone and again at check-in--raises red flags about their billing practices. It seems like a potential bait-and-switch tactic, especially since the front desk gave me the all-clear when I left, only for billing to contact me over a month later. I contacted the provided 1-844 number and spoke with an agent, explaining that I would have chosen a cheaper alternative had I known the total cost was $180. I couldn't be happier! Had a bad infection under my nail on my hand. I went there after being referred by another health care provider who mentioned that I might need it drained. I had what turned out to be an extremely painful infection. The doctor at Doctors Urgent Care looked at it and gave me antibiotics which turned out to be free! So I didn't even have to go get the prescription filled. I still have some pills left to take, but I am so much better and no pain! So grateful. read more

It's a walk-in clinic, but I made an online appt to be seen same day as I thought it might be faster in-out times. I also need a walk-in clinic as I'm a self-pay patient. Reception is very nice, as are the medical techs. Dr. Bogle is one of the best dr's I've seen... very patient, listens & explains in easy terms for non-med people like me. Prices are a bit lower than CVS' Minute Clinic ($110 vs $143 for a basic appt), with the bonus that they do quick, in-house lab tests... Minute Clinic does not do any in-house lab work & in my one experience, wait times were long & staff wasn't very pleasant. Dr. Bogle give me immediate prices for lab work he recommended & it was reasonable... added another $100 to my bill (2 blood tests & urine screen). It was a pleasant visit & I'll visit again, should I need immediate medical care and/or don't have insurance. Bonus is, their website says if you need to be seen for the same medical issue within 10-days, the follow-up appt is free. I believe they still honor that, but I'd call first. Only glitch is forms filled out online didn't make it to them, so I needed to fill out a paper form once I arrived, but I've found that to be an issue at a local dentist, as well. I am only giving this 2 stars because the nurse was nice and honest. I told them I had abdominal pain, and the charged me the copay, sent me back and the nurse told me there was nothing they can do for me there. WHY didn't they tell me that before I wasted my time and before they charged me? I had to go to another ER, Guidewell, which was AMAZING. They did a CT scan and everything I needed. Then to top it off, I called to get a copy of my bill for insurance and they totally jerked me around giving me TWO bad numbers to call, then told me to join the patient portal and I could get it there. Another half hour later, I found out they do not have that information in the portal. Just like the appointment, an hour and a half of my time wasted with no solution. No one working there seems to know who you call for records or bills. I would not recommend this place. read more

Well I had a stupid Christmas injury, scissor puncture wound while wrapping presents. I walked in the door holding bloody paper towels on my arm and they whisked me right in while my husband did the paperwork. I have been to this Doctors Urgent Care a few too many times for my liking, however that has nothing to do with this fine establishment. ER's and Urgent Care clinics are generally chaotic and crazy.. They are the modern triage centers for every walking wounded, broken bone and virus/germ infected individual from aged 5 to 105. Unfortunately due to a very um.. outgoing younger life I have spent way too much time in ER's across the globe. With that being said, this clinic is top notch. The nurses and intake staff work quickly to process the inbound germ bombs and wounded and do so with a little bit of flair and panache! Lets see that at an ER. The process is relatively quick to process insurance, make a co-pay and get back into the treatment rooms. The nurses greet you at the door and work to help diagnose the issue and speed up the process for the Doc's. They answer every question you ask and provide some excellent feedback on your injury/malady before you see the Doc. Thankfully they don't make you feel like an idiot or that you are wasting their time. Even if you reason for the visit is something that is clearly idiotic.. The doctors at the clinic- I have seen Dr. Dean, Dr Mykus, Dr. Chang, Dr. Robinson (My apologies if I have misspelled any names gentlemen) have all been the consummate professionals. They have skillfully lanced, reset, diagnosed and generally put Humpty Dumpty back together again the multiple times I have been there. Each Doctor has his own style but each worked efficiently and most importantly, showed that they cared. They wanted me to get better. They answered questions, talked about the prescriptions, side effects, etc.. All in all, if you need a superb urgent care go to place, this is it. Don't spend hours waiting at the ER for some over worked internist who has the technique and/or beside manner of the finest civil war surgeon on the third day of fighting at Gettysburg. read more

The establishment & supposed Doctor is an absolute joke! I have been in a motor vehicle accident a few months ago and have received two injections in my back that has assisted me. I am staying at a motel in Palm Harbor looking for a place to move on the water. I explained all this to the staff, as well as I had some heavy-duty drugs that I did not wish to take as I did not want to be impaired. The doctor was spineless, he did not even take the time to come in and see me and insinuate that I was trying to get drugs, he let his Nurse do this. Any doctor that lets his staff do his dirty work and not take the time to see it on his own and make his own professional observations after seeing a patient, is a pretty poor excuse for a doctor in my opinion. I know they are going to ask me to take this down there's no way, every word is true! I took the time to find an urgent care center, force myself to drive to it, do the paperwork, give all my information.....& wait. The least a doctor could have done was come in and see me and expressed his concern, judged my case individually & made an informed, realistic opinion. This was not the case, this doctor chose to stay lurking somewhere in the background and let his staff do his bidding. I have pain pills to help with the problem, but I choose not to take them because I do not like the effects they have on me. It is much easier when it gets to this point of intense pain to go in and get an injection. And then the nurse told me that they could not even give an injection into my back, where the pain is located. They only give shots in the buttocks. I asked about a shot of cortisone, as it's a naturally occurring substance in the body and got no substantial answers. I wonder if there was even a doctor present, if he's not able to give a shot properly. ....I know .....I must look like a major druggie and must have been exhibiting signs of the DTS or Jonesing for a fix. NOT! That is why I prefer to stay away from strong mesacine. I see where can look a bit Shady, since I do live in Tampa, but they could have called the hotel & verified that I have been there since last Thursday. As a Medical Case Manager, there was no excuse for me to be embarrassed & basically turned away. They could have called my doctor in Tampa & they would have explained things from 1 doc to another. No, it was easier just to kick me out and give me no treatment. As I remain in pain and totally pissed off at the lack of professionalism and unethical way that I was treated I would not recommend this establishment to anyone let alone any of their pets. If you feel the need to be degraded I'm sure you can find an easier way to do that , than to go there and wait to have somebody lie to you & have a doc?, that won't even see you, let alone look you in the eye. Took my brother in law there last night, about 6PM, the front desk girls did everything for us to leave, I guess because they close at 7pm. I actually had to tell her to calm down because she kept repeating the same thing in a urgency that it was distressing: give me ur id, give me the id now and standing with her hand to finishing being right in front of her. Then doing the same for the payment. I told her: can you calm down? We are not running out and leaving and not paying u, rude young girl. After that, the doctor and his helper were great and able to communicate in a very nice way. When we were to leave she was rude again but good thing I was not going to her level. I would have given this business 5 stars but the reception was anything but pleasant. The young lady who checked my husband in seemed to prefer being anywhere but there and we were intruding on her time. Friendly? Nope. Efficient? Negative. A great way to start when you're in pain? Ha! Once you got past the front desk, you were in another world! I brought my husband here because he could hardly walk due to back/hip pain. He mentioned how caring the nurse and the doctor were, not rushing him through the process but carefully recording all the information he gave them. The doctor diagnosed his problem and treated him right away. The nurse kept my husband informed as to what the doctor would be doing and seemed to really care that my husband would get relief. We waited in the car for half an hour beyond his appointment time although I preregistered my husband to avoid lengthy wait. That wait I translated into quality time with the patient and giving undivided attention to his problem. Maybe the young lady was having a bad day or didn't feel well, but that should not be reflected in your attitude when you are the first person the patient meets when looking for medical attention. This is really a marvelous practice in general and I would highly recommend going there when you are suffering or need medical testing or the like. read more

Initial visit was prompt and professional. Doctor ordered an Ultrasound to rule out Deep Vein Thrombosis which can produce blood clots (Pretty serious). Test was taken on 6/3/2021 and was not informed about results by anyone from this facility until 8 days later. I have been going to this clinic for years and have loved the staff up until now. I don't know who this new doctor is but he is a complete idiot. I went in for shoulder pain and he didn't even touch my arm once. I told him what happened to cause the shoulder pain and he laughed and looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. He ended up taking some X-rays (which I later found out were not valid X-rays and had to get more taken) and came back saying there was nothing wrong with my shoulder and asked if I wanted a sling to "make me feel better". Since I was barely able to move my arm, I went to another doctor for a second opinion and it turns out I have a dent in my bone and am now going to need surgery. Will not be returning to this office and I hope this grabs other people's attention. read more

The staff here is amazing! They make you feel very welcome from the time you walk to the time you leave. They are extremely thorough. I love that you can schedule an appointment online in terms of being put on a wait list although they do take walk-ins as well. I like this because your name is put on the list at that time so if there are people in there already you are added to the list. I have not, fortunately, waited more than 10-15 mins max any time I've been there! Dr. Laura Walsh is so friendly, makes you feel so comfortable and is extremely knowledgeable! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!! Now that I got your attention, still, do not go there. I wasn't going to write anything about this nasty place, but now that they're trying to scam people I decided to write a review. Several weeks later I got a bill to pay and info that my insurance didn't cover me, although they said it does in the clinic. Called my insurance and they verified they did pay, and even paid MORE and that the clinic charged me extra on the deductible. I tried calling the billing department and no one answers after many tries on different hours. I called the clinic and this extremely rude and hyper girl on 5 gallons of coffee mixed with Red Bull and 5-Hour Energy answered. She wouldn't hear what I'm wanted to say and kept interrupting me. She said let me look at ..... and she closed the phone. What kind of drugs is she on? Anyways, the story several weeks before goes as follows: I went to check on my knee that got swollen and big overnight. I think I tore my outer ligament in my knee. I couldn't sleep properly the whole night. So while I was there, I had two people that came AFTER me go see the doctor BEFORE I did. I know that because I was there first, and because they have a TV that shows the ticket number and who was there and at what time. First red flag. So I ignored that. I got called by the nurse, and she did the usual checking of the heart rate and stuff. She didn't know any medical terms, or the name of prescription drugs that I told her I'm taking. She didn't know both the generic AND brand name! Second red flag. When she left, I stayed more than 50 minutes in the room waiting for the doctor to come(!). It was completely unprofessional. I was shocked to see later that a guy who also came after me exiting, even though he was waiting for his turn when I went inside the patients' room. So, apparently the doctor helped him while I was waiting. I could hear their conversation from the other room while waiting those long 50 minutes. I just can't believe there have no system or organization. Third red flag. The doctor looked so young and inexperienced. He was rude and kept interrupting me while I was explaining my injury. He jumped into conclusions without hearing what I was saying. Needless to say, he was wrong. He kept falsely diagnosing different parts of my knee instead of just letting me finish what I was saying. He told me to lay on a table checked me for exactly 30 seconds. He said I need pain-killers, like seriously dude? And he didn't care that I DON'T want painkillers and I'm not used to them. He then had me take an X-ray while there was no fracture, and I know there wasn't a fracture, cause I've had a fractured forearm before and I know how it feels. Well I guess if my insurance is paying why not increase the bill? Then he said the radiologist is not there to see my X-rays????? He sounded so stupid and immature for a normal person, let alone a doctor. Of course, I never heard back about anything from "the radiologist". If you were in a horrible accident and were on the footsteps of their clinic, I suggest call 911 or try and walk to an actual clinic that has actual staff and real doctors. Bottom line: immature staff and doctors, rude, unorganized, money scams, not a medical institution. read more

Was seen here and saw Dr. Dean... he is amazing. Madison, Meghan, Maryann and Sammy were the girls who were working. I had to ask for their names because they were all so friendly and caring. There was no wait when I walked in. The front staff was super friendly. There was a coffee and hot tea station set up and a health network on the TV to watch while we wait so we aren't just sitting in awkward silence. There is also a list to see who is in front of you so you know how long it'll be until your name is called. I loved the atmosphere. The staff is amazing. I came here close to 5pm today Friday. I told the front desk assistant why I was there and she said " why don't you go to your surgeon"? Really? They close at 5 and I was in severe pain. Twice she tried to get me to go elsewhere and I finally sad" Jeez, are you refusing me treatment"??? My insurance covers this place. The Dr. was nice and through. I had radial distal surgery for a broken wrist with a volar plate inserted. My ulna was swollen and I was in pain and my arm was red and hand was blue. She took Xrays and said it looked like a bone spur. They put me in a splint. She wanted to prescribe me prescription ibuprofen or aleve. Ibuprofen makes me dizzy and sick to my stomach and naproxen is contradicted with the antidepressant I'm on. She said she'd call me in Tramadol that she couldn't call in narcotics? Really? Hence other reviews. I got no dis-charge papers, no films of my xrays. Then I go to pick up my prescription and they called in Maloxen? Really? That interferes with my other mediction. I'll be calling in the AM. Oh and edited to add. I was diagnosed with malnutrition and dehydration when I had a UTI in Oct and asked if they could test my urine and she said yes. Then the assistant came in and said" you're all finished"? I asked about that and bottom line they didn't want to do it. She said your vitals were fine so you're ok. Really? Dr. David Dean was the best! He took the time to really listen to my symptoms and read my radiology reports and examined me - something my Specialist neglected to do. He got to the bottom of the issue going on and got me the treatment I needed!! I am now fully recovered and so grateful to at last have found a caring, competent and knowledgeable doctor!! When I was waiting to be called back to an exam room, another lady came in with an arm injury. I understood ( in my mind ) that her needs were more important then mine and had assumed she would be treated before me. Alas, her insurance was not accepted at the clinic and the admitting staff directed her to another facility that her insurance would cover her treatment, She was also given the option of staying and paying cash. Took my wife with flu symptoms on 2/12/18. Had to wait one hour and 45 minutes. After completing paperwork, during the wait period we were not informed that cigna insurance was not accepted until just before seeing the doctor, and therefore had to pay full cash price. "Do you have insurance?" was the first question asked to us upon arrival. A timely response by urgent care to our coverage would have allowed us to make other arrangements. read more

I used this facility as a Tricare Prime member for an emergency that occurred after Macdill AFB was closed for the day. The girls at the front desk were knowledgeable about my insurance and co pays. I was seen within 15 minutes by the doctor on duty. I was able to have X-rays, an object removed from my hand, prescription in my good hand and out the door in 35 minutes.
