They refer to eachother and visits can be only 20 minutes. These mills are the worse places you can go. Ur problem will get worse. U go from one "specialist" to another on different days under the same roof to drs who are salaried. They have to oblige by rules of not treating anything that they can milk your insurance for. Dr Harden is who I made my first appointment with. After 6 visits to different referring "doctors", nothing got done and I never met this woman. I'm interested in finding out more about her, and I will. I switched over easily and saw the Dr I should have seen from the start at Beth Israel. Are these drs on hospital staffs? All u need to do is see how chaotic this place is run. Patients coming and going real fast, staff overwhelmed. Go see it before you go to this disaster and end up sicker! I know how these places make money. You can be sure the drs here are not, but there's one laughing all the way to the bank. It's the owner. If I'm wrong, have Dr Harden schedule a meeting with me and I'll take this down with an apology. All the wasted insurance resources, the time, only to be treated like a dog! THIS IS A FAST PACED BUSINESS, NOT A DOCTORS OFFICE. It's DISGUSTING ON EVERY LEVEL. FYI: Drs don't make a lot of money anymore. The only way to get rich is to run mills that make u return repeatedly. U aren't supposed to refer to yourself, but if these drs are salaried, that's exactly what they're doing. Those are rules by the owner!

Patient Abandonment by Neurosurgeon at Critical Moment…read more Dr. Goldberg evaluated my 82-year-old mother at Englewood Hospital for progressive spinal stenosis with severe neurological symptoms. Dr. Goldberg stated he would not perform surgery at Englewood Hospital due to concerns about post-surgical complications and the hospital's inability to handle them. Dr. Goldberg stated he would sign transfer paperwork anywhere, at any time, by anyone who asks to help facilitate transfer to a specialty care hospital. Then Dr. Goldberg disappeared. No explanation. No communication. No reassignment to another neurosurgeon. I contacted Dr. Goldberg's office requesting he follow through on his commitment. No response. My mother is now mostly wheelchair-bound with urinary retention and inability to move her bowels. She continues to deteriorate by the day. She is currently hospitalized with an unknown outcome. This could have potentially been reversed if Dr. Goldberg had not abandoned her at her most vulnerable time of need. This is patient abandonment. Dr. Goldberg, at my mother's most vulnerable time of need: will you help, or will you abandon her again? If you cannot trust a doctor to follow through on facilitating the care they themselves recommended, how can you possibly trust them to handle post-operative complications? Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery…read more THANK YOU EVERYONE SO MUCH FOR MAKING ME FEEL AT EASE AND WELCOMED. On June 9 2023 I'm back at the office after my cerebral angiogram procedure/surgery done 2 weeks ago at North Shore Hospital, NY by Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery I walk in to the office and welcomed with smiles from Maharanie Manmohan (Front Desk) Margo McKenzie (Front Desk) & Rebecca Kingston (Front Desk). While checking me in we had a blast chatting. They loved my outfit that was custom made by a tailor in Nigeria. One of the 8 outfits my mommy sent to me. Also everyone looked amazing. What lovely ladies. Very professional, kind, warm and caring. The wait was not long at all. Keisha (Medical Assistant) came to get me. Very professional, polite and kind. She went through the entire process with me. Nice sense of humor which made me feel at ease for I was there for a brain issue. Later came Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner. What a gorgeous lady. Dr. Thomas Link is hot as well. Cindy Queliza and I have spoken on the phone numerous times. First time we met in person. Well so since my aneurysm Feb 2008 at Bellevue Hospital. We all tried to get my records but unfortunately Bellevue records warehouse had burnt down years ago. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery showed me the photos from the cerebral angiogram 2 weeks ago. I had another aneurysm below the one I had in 2008. The clip that was put on my 4th nerve where the 1st aneurysm which made me permanently blind is now corroding. Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery explained all my options in great detail so for my peace of mind I will have the cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization. This will prevent the aneurysm from rapturing. With this procedure there's a 5-9% chance of death or stroke. But I would rather have this done than have the aneurysm rapture at any time. Both Dr. Thomas Link, MD, MS - Neurosurgery and Cindy Queliza - Nurse Practitioner where very compassionate, caring and patient in explaining everything in great detail. I felt I'm in great hands. So now I have a OGBYN surgery on July 18 2023. Neck surgery in August 2023. Will have the brain surgery cerebral angiogram again the coil embolization Jan/Feb 2024. This way to give my body enough time to heal. I want to thank everyone for making my experience not stressful, very professional, bringing smiles and laughs to me. Very much appreciated for it is a very traumatic time and thing to deal with. ALL LOVES HERES.

By the time I met with Dr. Golzad, I had lost all hope. I had seen many doctors and rehabilitation…read morespecialists for a work-related Traumatic Brain Injury. I was suffering from many cognitive, psychological and physical problems. I had to walk with canes or walkers, I couldn't concentrate on conversations, and I couldn't finish the simplest task. I was given the impression that I wasn't going to improve and that the passage of time would only make my symptoms worse. I was frightened, isolated, and profoundly depressed. My wife heard good things about Dr. Golzad and forced me to see him. My first visit with Dr. Golzad was very different than anything I had experienced until then. First, he observed my gait. Due to my balance disorder I had fallen several times. I used walkers to go around. Dr. Golzad realized that I had developed an extreme fear of falling and that I needed to overcome before I could improve. He attached me to a harness that was rigged to an overhead trolley. He took away my walkers and asked me to walk. The harness held me up. After several steps, Dr. Golzad gradually loosened the harness and encouraged me to walk from one end of the hallway to the other without my walkers. Then he removed the harness and to my surprise I walked. Within several weeks of performing a series of exercises, my legs got stronger and my mind got over the paralyzing phobia that several falls after the TBI had left me with. I became capable of leaving my house without my walkers! Still, as I explained, the depression was profound. I had seen psychiatrists. I was proscribed one antidepressant after another. My depression was resistant to Prozac and other drugs. That left me feeling like a failure. My whole life had changed. I didn't want to be depressed. No one wants to be depressed. Dr. Golzad began regular injections of the drug Ketamine in his office. Music therapy and aromatherapy were part of the treatment. After several sessions, my incurable sadness lifted. I wanted to and did engage more actively in the various therapy sessions to improve my cognition. All along, Dr. Golzad had me take nutritional supplements. I began an intensive program of supervised neurofeedback-assisted cognitive remediation therapy. It took several months until I made enough progress to stop supervised therapy. I continue the exercises on my own. I have restarted projects and I engage in activities I had to abandon after my accident. I no longer feel isolated. I feel hopeful again. Just a few weeks ago I started a volunteer job in a chronic healthcare facility. In my experience, a TBI injury is devastating. A patient must get the right care. Dr. Golzad personalized my care, all of it. I needed a lot of help and I got it. I am so glad my wife insisted I try one more doctor and that doctor turned out to be Dr. Golzad. To my fellow TBI survivors, do not give up. Wherever you are in this country, find the right doctor. There is light at the end of a dark and scary tunnel.
