It's safe to say she was exhausted. I completely understand, however, I had an appointment that was scheduled two weeks ago. The young lady at the front was very apologetic and attempted to call me before my arrival. I didn't get the call because I was already in route. There was no need to express my frustration with her because she's the messenger. This is a matter that management/ owners of the establishment should deal with. What took place this morning was beyond unprofessional, inconsiderate, and simple poor business practice. The hydration therapy service that is provided here is definitely something this area needs because of the benefits it offers. However, I could easily venture out to other area that offers the same services with a more convenient schedule and reliability, but I choose to give this location a try after being referred here for other services that I have been very pleased with. Would I recommend or refer others here? Absolutely for any other service other than the hydration therapy treatment. Those that work here that I have encountered has been professional, courteous, and has shown a genuine concern as it relate to the nature of my visit. It is unfortunate that I will be going elsewhere for this particular services. I truly hope that this review is taken constructively with an attempt to assess and make necessary changes.

This will be my last visit to this location…read more I have a sinus infection. Had them before. Sometimes I get one in the Spring. Know exactly what's going on. Know what the effective treatment has been every time. I haven't been sick long enough with it apparently. As I've had a sinus infection 3 years ago, they asked if I'd seen an ENT. Waste of half a day off work. Had poison ivy. Had it before. Knew exactly what's was going on. Knew when, where and how I got it. When poison ivy starts sprouting, I will come in contact with it because I don't see it. Argued with me as to what it was and didn't want to treat it. I had to demand the effective treatment of steroids and cream. Had an ear ache. Knew what my symptoms were. It was Summer. Had been to the beach. 3 trips to this location for three different incorrect and unsuccessful diagnoses. They went as far as to tell me I had a fungal ear infection and I needed an ENT. Nope. Went to my GP and they removed wax buildup I had pushed deep by accident. Instantly better. Listening to the patient and treating them the first time is all I'm looking for. This location demonstrates they cannot do that. Not steering me to an ENT 5 weeks in the future. I have had multiple visits that resulted in incorrect or unreliable treatment. All the ailments were run of the mill, seasonal situations, with easy, common remedies. This ain't an episode of HOUSE. Edit: they did finally give me a script for antibiotics, so the visit wasn't a whole washout. One star added back.

I was greeted as I walked in which is a plus because sometimes cs folks can be unpleasant. My wait was under 10 minutes. My triage personnel was just too cute and very polite. She took my vitals, told me what there were and ASKEd me if I wanted too be weighed....lol. I did and that was good too.... My physician was very knowledgeable about my condition and she subscribed me a bunch of stuff to take care of my pain and condition. I truly recommend Piedmont. This is my first time at this location, I have visited the Camp Creek location also and top tier just busier. Thanks for a stressless visit. If I ever have to be seen urgently, it will be with Piedmont y'all!!!

The front desk staff told me that there is a 15 grace period for all other times except for the 4:15pm. All I'm asking for is courtesy and communication. If I wasn't making it to my appointment it would be responisble for me to call and cancel. However the same isn't required vice versa. I almost had a titty attck when they said the doctor left. How? The care seems nice but they never told me that before having my blood pressure taken that i wasn't supposed to eat within the hour. So it always read that i had high blood pressure. On my medical records the notes often said i was obese-- And i'm not... I'm just built heavier because pre pregnancy i used to go to the gym. The women that look after you here are nice but there are a few that have made me uncomfortable because of their attitudes in the past. One woman taking my blood made it extremely uncomfortable, i think she put the needle in incorrectly? And a woman taking my blood pressure didn't let my arm sit in the right position so it read wayyy higher than it was supposed to. My new ob/gyn has definitely made me realize how mediocre the care was for me here and it's a shame it took them pulling the rug from under me to find that out the hard way so close to the end of my pregnancy. Don't settle just because you want a black doctor. You see based off of the news that it doesn't matter what you do! The doctors at Emory midtown made it all over social media for Labor and Delivery icks. Most people just don't care these days. It's about the money for them.

I was never informed this call was a doctor appointment that I would be charged for or that I was speaking to the doctor. I called the office and asked if they could submit a RX refill to the pharmacy. I didn't need a consult because this was a medication I have been using for some time. Again I found out the doctor office billed my insurance $69 just for me calling asking for a refill. I was never told I was speaking to the doctor and didn't ask for one. I learned my lesson. I guess this doctor sits by the phone and answers it so she can bill a telehealth appointment when you havent asked for it and don't know you're getting one.
