how do u guys a positve review..?? i came to durham dental…read moreneeding only a simple filling.. during covid where the dentists have to wear a mask.. however, the smelly owner was doing my filling, and with my mouth wide open.. he spat when he spoke and actually spat directly into my mouth... now, instead of fixing one single filling... they decided to drill it down to nothing.. but also sliced into the mouler next to it and refused to fix it. and because of that and not checking my bite like a professional.. i actually lost a third tooth... now my entire grill is all messed up and i can hear and feel a 4th tooth cracking.. i gave them a 1 of 5 cause theres no zero. and.. one day i was trying to ask for a perscription for simple ib profen at the desk where out of nowhere.. the smelly owner guy rushed the front desk where i was standing and rudly accused me of asking for peracept when i wasnt. they continued to be rude af to me. and the big blonde behind the desk had quite the mouth on her from what i can recall. thretening to call the police on me for no reason what so ever... i would never ever refefer these people who needs any kind of work nor a simple check up as there likely to spit directly into your mouth and not use deoderant. i can allways take this down. but i wont as these people did not want to listen. and did horrible dentistry.

The hygenist was very thorough - even rapidly calling out numerous measurements of the gaps between my teeth and gums in order to calculate potential concerns. I had never experienced that before. She went on to clean, scale and polish my teeth. She found some excessive amounts of plaque and suitably lectured me on the need to floss more frequently. The dentist then came in, examined my teeth and took the time to discuss potential options for replacing a crown and whitening my teeth. I was again cheerfully greeted at the desk where the cost of the various options was clearly laid out, together with what my insurance would and would not cover. I made 3 more appointments to do that work and left very satisfied with the experience. I would definitely recommend.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating, I always feel like my teeth are cleaned properly and that they are looking out for me, and they make sure to remind me when I have an appointment. I started going to Dr Yu after my other dentist missed a HUGE problem that had been going on for years. The damage in the end was quite bad and I required surgery.
