It's look and feel harken back to the old days of being able to wander into a record store shop around and flip through several hundred LPs check- out the latest stuff in from both the new and the latest used music. Then you can wander over to the other part of the store and look at the classic toys you grew up with and reminics about how much your Heman collection would be worth. Then snag a Voltron figure for your office shelves! I guess this shows how nerdy I actually am... but I know I will see many of you at this store!

They were amply staffed, and the team (yes, "TEAM") of folks who answered all our questions, got us the VIOLA of my fifth-grader's dreams, and checked out with a lovely payment plan setup that night were all absolutely fantastic! I took my '83 Fender Telecaster to Heritage. I was having it customized with new pickups and hardware. They have a guitar tech that comes in 3 days a week. He had a long wait list so the wait took a while, three weeks to be exact. Once he got to my guitar he was done in a day. He did a great job. The wait was rewarded. Communication was great. He kept me informed of each step and was accurate for time frames. When I came to pick it up it was beautiful and played great. His set up was excellent and exactly as I had requested. No frills, old fashion music shop. Reminds me of the kind downtown when I was a kid. Tight little space packed with instruments and smelling of oil and wood. When you're having your guitar worked on you want someone you can trust. Reliability and fair prices. Prices were fair. You want someone that does what you ask because you're the one playing it. I worry about my guitars. I want them back in no worse shape than I left them. I can trust Heritage music and their excellent guitar tech. I wouldn't hesitate to take my guitar back here for work.

They took the time to listen to what exactly my son was looking for. They figured out which horn was the best fit for my son. They even customized the trigger in my son's school colors. It was the perfect horn for my son and was reasonably priced. They did great with shipping it up to Cleveland for us. The horn and case was wrapped up nicely and arrived here in great shape. They are locally owned actual musicians who have plenty of familiarity with their stuff and the field in general. I picked up one lightly used accessory at a fair price, and plan to revisit the shop when I can combine trips, because I find myself driving past this shop conveniently located right on 95th Street in O.P., KS often. They have a nice mix of new and vintage merchandise. The shop is on multiple floors; they have some rooms that are maybe mostly for lessons, but also enable you to rock out without an audience to try gear out.
