We thought we would have to wait till we drove to Chicago for good food. This place is welcoming, charming and modern. I ordered the sea bass with vodka pasta and my husband the lamb lollipop with roasted potatos. Both were 10/10. We are very picky and self proclaimed foodies. For dessert we shared the tiramisu. It was good. 9/10 for small size and a tiny bit dry. The flavors were well balanced though. We sat on the Fiori side but had a choice of sitting on either side and can order from both menus. What a great concept.

Their standard menu does not feature their vegan options, so we had to wait for the waitress to come back around again to ask for this. Unfortunately, the Vegan Chicken Breast was crossed off, so I'm not sure if that will be coming back. I went with the Vegan Reuben, a reliable standard, but it was terribly disappointing. It prompted me to pull up my photos from our previous dining experience there, and the sandwich looks so much more unappetizing. The current sandwich is wet, pale, and oddly sweet. The color and texture are so different, so I'm not sure what they've changed from their original recipe.

Had a great vibe but it was extremely loud. The pizza was just okay - really saucey - too much for me. The wings needed more crisp but the flavor was good. We also got the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was tasty with large pieces of shrimp. Overall - friendly waitstaff - good service - and decent bar food.

There are also a few arcade games, one being a huge Pac Man game. The bar area is open with high top seating. There is booth/table seating in the back area. Overall the restaurant and bar is very loud and it wasn't even that busy. If Intimate and quiet is your thing, this is not the place. That said the girls behind the bar were very friendly although service little slow, but overall a decent experience. The burger was good and the beer was cold. Sweet potato fries... those could use some work...luke warm and soft. I was a little concerned when I found small shards of broken glass in my beer but the staff was great and took care of it right away. They pulled the tray out where the glasses sit to get cold and thoroughly cleaned it.

The wine list covers most regions, though noticeably missing any Zinfandels. Service was good overall, but substitutions are clearly discouraged, which may be a drawback for some diners. Appetizers lean heavily toward seafood, with a salad and brochette rounding out the options. They also offer rotating egg rolls; we tried the gyros version, which was flavorful but on the pricey side. The main menu isn't extensive, yet every major category is represented. Our fillets were cooked as ordered, and the baked potatoes were standard. However, the presentation was underwhelming--the filet looked quite bare on a large plate, with watery meat juice that didn't add much appeal. Desserts include a wide variety of cakes and cream‑cheese‑based options, though there's no crème brûlée or key lime pie for those who prefer classics. All in all, the experience and pricing were reminiscent of the now‑closed Gino's, though it doesn't quite reach the same level of execution. Still, it offers a solid night out with a few standout elements and a few areas that could use refinement.

On my second visit a year later, I decided to give it another shot--this time opting for the traditional version instead of the smoked one. It was better, but still only average at best. It was also served warm, and the ice melted quickly, suggesting the glass or drink wasn't properly chilled. The martini was also underwhelming--it tasted mostly like juice, with little to no noticeable alcohol. As for the food, the starters were definitely the highlight. The French onion soup was actually very good. However, the main courses didn't live up to expectations. I ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out closer to medium well--overcooked and under-seasoned. The chicken Vesuvio was also disappointing; the sauce tasted like it came from a jar, and neither it nor the rice stood out in any meaningful way. On a positive note, the ambiance was very nice. The lighting created a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, while the setting and service were enjoyable, the food and drinks didn't justify a return visit.
