She impressed me with her efficiency on my very first visit and continues to do so before, during and following all of my visits. On the other hand, there have been a number of audiologists since my first visit. Helen was the one who was there on my first visit (and she was very good) but there have been a number of other audiologists between Helen and Lauren, none of whom did a particularly good job. One, in fact, did a horrible job causing me to get a major blister and sore in my ear (in spite of my several complaints that the hearing aid was way too big and was causing irritation in my ear. Having said all of this, I LOVE Lauren. She is very professional, knowledgeable, helpful and personable. She pays attention to every small detail and always follows up to ensure that my hearing aids are properly adjusted for hearing/sound as well as comfort. Since Lauren has been at Hearing Centers of SW Florida I have referred several friends to the Center and, specifically, to Lauren. I highly sing her praises in every way possible. She deserves it.

Dr. Greene was able to diagnose my issue as a simple throat thrush caused by my inhaler after about 5 minutes of questions and inspecting my mouth. I have no idea why 3 other doctors could not diagnose this but, he was and very quickly. The entire office experience was great from start to finish and Dr. Greene is very personable. I felt as though he was disinterested and blew off my sinus symptoms. My PCP referred me to see an ENT as I am having and have had awful sinus issues. They have been getting worse as of lately and I feel miserable. I recently had a CT per my PCP and instead of getting the images from my PCP, he ordered another CT. He is definitely not worried about cost for the patient. I am a nurse and I am very aware of patient assessment. Other than looking in my ears briefly and briefly putting a tube up both nostrils to look at my sinuses and nose he did not assess me. It was a waste of my time and money. I do not recommend going to him. I could go into more detail of my issues and visit but i don't want to waste anymore of my time. I found another ENT that I will be seeing who has a hundred amazing reviews. Despite it being a month out, it's worth it to see a dr that cares and actually wants tot treat the issue. I was told to plan to spend at least an hour with this new dr for a full assessment and history. Huge difference in that alone.

We spent almost a year dealing with them not fixing it to allow him to hear properly. We took him to a ENT doctor and found out that they prescribed a insufficient hearing aid for his condition. They answer all my questions and go over test results while taking care of my hearing aids when they had issues. They all make my appointments a pleasure and not a hardship. Recently I went for a hearing test and to get my hearing aids fixed. Dr Bride is no longer there as she's now taking caring of the business which is quite understandable. My Hearing tests were done fine and my hearing aids were fixed and tuned up properly. All was good and mission was accomplished. So 5 stars it still is. I highly recommend Adept.

Once the hearing aids were paid for, their response to a request for service was a monotone appointment only, we can offer you one in two weeks. It was a simple repair. The nice folks at Coastal told me to come right over, that although they work on appointments, they would squeeze me in. Once there and in no time at all they replaced the ear bud and sent me on my way. I would have been happy to pay and offered to do so. They did the repair promptly, at no charge and I was not even a regular customer. I was very please. It is a lot easier to help mom when she can hear me. They would screw appointments...their tech/nurse was constantly, openly rude to me...they didn't care. There were SEVERAL instances of their unbelievable behavior...here is one from my letter of complaint to John Couris, president of Tampa General Hospital: "I will NEVER understand why you and your staff treated me the way you did. I did NOTHING wrong...I am happy to share what happened to me in reviews. I went to their clinic in Sun City Center...and that turned out to be a massive nightmare. I'm 65 right now and have never...NEVER met people as inept and rude as the staff that runs this place. It is almost funny it is so bad...but when you are on the receiving end of their nastiness...it is really ugly. Here is just ONE event I endured with these people. 1) My appointment with Dr. Lamielle was for 1 PM 2) I arrived at 12:45, checked-in, told to take a seat (usual stuff) 3) Soon, it is after 2PM so I walk up to the next open window to ask how much longer. 4) The girl says to me "Oh! You are really late!!" 5) I said no, I had been waiting since 12:45. 6) This office manager walks up and points out where I had indeed been checked in. 7) The girl said I missed my appointment but could come back in 6 weeks. (No, I am not kidding...they both told me that.) I was so angry, I just walked away but not before I asked how on earth could I have missed my appointment when I was there, on time and waiting. She told me the doctor did not have time to see me now, but I could come back in 6 weeks. UNBELIEVABLE!!!" To add to this lunacy, the doctor actually called me at home, a few days later, at 9PM at night (yep, that late at night) and told me he actually wasn't even in the clinic that day. So...ummmmm...wait a minute here! What the hell is going on? You lied? They lied? Why was I asked to even be there!?!?!? Hopefully, this clinic will shut down or, learn how to deal with patients in an appropriate manner instead of doing what they did to me. They are unprofessional, rude, and clearly incompetent. Sadly, this is the "Shared Purpose Statement" for Tampa General Hospital We heal. We teach. We innovate. Care for everyone. Every day. ...that certainly was NOT my experience with TGMG.
