Some have smaller gaps of grabs for smaller children and people. There is a procedure to putting in the harness and gear. They have lots of staff on hand to help out. My 2 grandchildren went to camp here this week. They really enjoyed getting to meet other children and practice skills that they already had learned here on prior visits. My only complaint was a really bossy camp leader who constantly picked on one of my grandkids when she was only doing what she was instructed to do. I overheard him bad mouthing her to other staff and within earshot of my self and other patrons. This was unnecessary and unprofessional. I would hope that he checks his huge ego when he goes to work here in the future.

When we took it back he said we need to park in the front, walk in, check in, then drive to the back. He also told me the grill wasn't clean enough. So after I cleaned it again, literally didn't do anything to it, I looked at the other grills which were filthy! As long as I don't have to deal with Gilbert I'll be back.

The experience was horrible. The people working the front had their heads down looking at their…read morephones. They didn't offer us the tour of the gym like the description said. The teacher did not come and introduce herself to the new kids. There was no assistant on standby when the teacher tended to others. She gave insufficient directions. I observed her assigning them a section, but she didn't stick around to guide them on their form or assure their safety when they were instructed to climb high. She was gone for a minimum of 10 minutes every time and she tended to older kids, and no one checked on that group. I finally told someone in the front and he briefly assisted them. I told the "teacher" that a station was hard for the kids (they can't reach, they need help) and she walked away after promising to help them. The same teacher went to the front, looked at me, then began talking to other people working the front and then THEY began looking at me. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional of them and they refuse to see that. These "certified" instructors have no experience working with small children without effective training. I know they will shrug this off and call me a "Karen", but they don't see it from the perspective of a parent when they see a child climbing high on the bars on a wall with no one to spot them. They just punch in and punch out in their jobs, so they have no regard for the business. I hope the CEO is proud of them.

We made reservations online for a convenient time for us to come up from Rio Rancho. We walked in and my kids faces lit up. They were so excited. What was great for our family was there was a "Tykes" course (under 48") that my 2 year old could play on. It was challenging and perfect for her. Employees were kind and helped my kids go from wall to ropes anytime they needed. Covid safe practices and cleaning seemed effective. A challenging hike, but absolutely worth it!…read more When we went, the parking area had some construction going on, but it was still usable. There are several trails that start from the lot, so it will be used. The construction seems to be to connect this trailhead area to the nearby nature preserve society buildings and educational area. Which, by the way, is the closest restroom facilities. For those that need it... The trail is pretty easy to follow, though at the beginning, I was checking the photo I took of the trails and the AllTrails map. There were a couple confusing and unmarked on maps forks, or small dry creek beds or other areas that look like possible trails. And since part of the Picacho Peak trail is along or in a dry creek bed...it can be a little confusing. But once past that, the trails are pretty clear and well marked. It is challenging. It is in a higher elevation than I am generally used to, and even higher again from Albuquerque. And then you are climbing up a dang mountain. Take your time if you need to, bring more water than you think you'll need, bring snacks for energy at the top of the mountain. And enjoy!! The trail was neat and pretty well-maintained. The views are wonderful! And the other folks who will also make this trek are friendly and kind. Very glad we did it!

A beautiful drive up the mountain... a short hike up to the springs... and peaceful quiet. The top pool is warmer and clearer than the lower. The water is so clear. Hardly any trash or evidence of people, which is nice. Definitely would come back again.
