But the waiting time was about 5 min and my gorgeous hairstylist came to take me in. After we talked about what I wanted she got to work... Ciara was the most gentle, careful hair dresser I have ever been to... I could easily fall asleep while she was massaging my scalp. The service was great... One can't forget they are students learning so yes they take a bit longer but I really don't mind. I got a haircut that I've been dreaming of for ages... Looking around... they were busy enough and people were chatting away happily while getting their required service... The teachers are always around and watching and ready to help when needed... There's a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere and I would love to go again... I couldn't recommend them enough, especially the lovely Ciara who was amazing.... Thank you!

I've had to have it cut into a bob since to try and limit the damage and the hairdresser in the salon I got the bob in told me they'd never seen damage as bad. I have had 3 more hair cuts since and spent a fortune on loads of salon and home treatments Even now with loads of my hair cut off there are still a few inches of severe damage on the ends. I have pictures that I have taken at different times since my hair was burnt as well as some showing my hair disintegrated onto the comb when I tried to comb it. I have contacted the salon repeatedly but they are not replying to my emails or messages which is totally unprofessional and makes the whole situation worse. I'm very upset about the whole thing and it has already cost me a fortune to try and fix it. I'd hate to think that the same kind of thing would happen to anyone else.

She spent over an hour carefully trimming down the weight and bulk, allowing my natural curls to spring back to life. She painstakingly softened the areas in the back where chunks had been removed by the previous stylist, resolving the mushroom shape that had taken over. They did a waxing and threading (for those tricky little buggers that don't wanna gtfo). It was my first time threading, but they do the waxing first so the threading part isn't bad. Actually I preferred this to waxing and then tweezing (like I've had done at other salons). The threading seemed to be a lot more accurate. The appointment took 15 minutes maybe, and after I didn't look like a Yeti (not that it helped my GNIB photo..that just looks awful). The price was about €25, which seemed really reasonable to me. I only got the waxing done, but I was quite happy and would come back again, maybe try for a haircut, another time.

All in all, a lovely place to have your do - and reasonable too compared to the prices some of the salons in town charge!
