When…read morethe Navy recently moved me from San Diego, the movers completely demolished my teak chest of drawers and a lamp that my grandfather had made by hand (among many other less egregious damages). I thought the former was utterly irreparable: the base had been torn off, the drawers' slides had lost their ball bearings, and the whole thing looked ready for the dump. Enter Pat. He's friendly, professional, and extremely good at what he does. Moreover, he went absolutely above and beyond in making sure that I was happy with his work. He not only fixed my grandfather's lamp, but also sanded the base and restored it to better than its original, pre-move condition. As for the chest of drawers, the man works miracles; he put Humpty-Dumpty back together again. A few days after he delivered it, unfortunately, I discovered that two of the drawers were slightly out of whack. When I told him about the issues, he came over the very next day and spent nearly three hours making sure that every slide of every drawer worked perfectly. I would cheerfully award Pat more than 5 stars, and really cannot recommend him enough.

We at the Coastal Homeschool Co-op of Fort Walton Beach were thrilled to have David invite us into…read morethe Traditions Workshop space to demonstrate to our inquiring young minds woodworking and blacksmithing. He and Billy made room within the workshop to prepare for the comfort, enjoyment and safety of our group of approximately 30 children and adults. They both were fantastic and patient teachers who were masters in their craft. Willing to share their knowledge and encouraging to all. David and Billy were able to successfully speak and show concepts that were easily understood from the perspective of a young child (our group comprised of children ranging between the ages of 1 to 12). My 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son loved the little swords that were forged right in front of them. They came home and opened a parcel with them right away. David asked the children what character he should make into a wooden treasure box and after some suggestions from the audience, they decided on a whale. Right in front of their eyes, a whale was made from a block of wood. A truly memorable experience! Once my children are of appropriate age, I will surely enroll them in classes or apprenticeships here. David and Billy were truly inspiring to all those who attended. Our group is thankful for their time and wisdom.
