The thing that we do better in Physical Therapy is to listen in many ways. We listen to your story, your concerns, your goals, your body, and your movements. At Do it Better, Physical therapy is integrated to put the story together of your pain, difficulty in performance, or lack of motion. From there, we work together to treat, educate, and move forward.
What people enjoy about us is that we address the underlying concerns and problems that are involved with what you want to do better.
History
Established in 2014.
Do it Better physical therapy opened in 2014 in Corvallis, OR. Scott Van Kampen, began this practice after running a successful practice for 9 years in NY, and then continuing that practice as a locum in multiple other practices around the NW. He acted as both a consultant for other practices and a fill in to allow for other practices to better manage staff.
Do it Better now strives to be the best practice in town by allowing the whole individual to be assessed in relationship to the problems they are facing. I work to help you perform the functions you need to better while allowing you to learn to prevent the reoccurrence and stopping new problems from creeping in.
Through the Barral institute I have learned fantastic osteopathic style assessment and treatment techniques to use a great hands on approach. My fellowship with the Gray institute gives me an eye to see how your body works together and improve it through proprioceptive training.
Meet the Business Owner: Scott V.
In May 2010, I set off in my pickup with travel trailer in tow to fulfill the dream of living in the Pacific Northwest. I've since worked as a contract physical therapist in numerous clinics and hospitals throughout Washington and Oregon allowing me to continually learn new skills and continue my education in manual therapy and movement science.
In the Summer of 2014 Do it Better was opened here in Corvallis. I now spend my free time mountain biking, hiking, riding my motorcycle on the numerous byways and backroads, and spending quality time with family and friends. I look forward to growing and helping out in this community.
