Wow. I have had many many chiropractic adjustments and today I had one of the best experiences in a long time. Dr Jim Bentley was very thorough and extremely tuned in to exactly what I needed. I had my first appointment with Dr Jim yesterday. Today I feel amazing! I've had a lifetime of problems with my back and neck, starting from the age of 6 with major neck trouble and then on to a full spinal fusion with at the age of 11. Now as an adult I have very limited movement due to the metal rods (Harrington Rods) that sit either side of my spine, and I have a lot of on going pain. Needless to say, being treated by a new practitioner can be very nerve racking for me. Dr Jim made me feel completely comfortable. Unlike other doctors he actually took the time to explain everything he was doing in a way that I could understand and he spent a LONG time finding all of the problems that were bothering me, and even some problems that I didn't know were there! He was VERY specific about the methods of treatment he chose for my specific situation, explaining why some maneuvers would be more beneficial than others due to my condition. The only downside to my meeting Dr Jim is that I live so far away! But I will absolutely be making my way to his practice as often as I possibly can to receive his amazing treatment. read more
