After having a sudden episode with my right eye and after being referred unanimously on a Facebook community group to Tillamook vision center I decided to call and ask about my condition. On the first day, I had two people I spoke with both were extremely kind and caring in regard to my health. At the same time of giving professional advice by phone they also were very patient listening to my story and only expressed concern for my well-being. I waited, but after another day of googling my condition and to drive me to go in on urgent status, Dr. Jenck also was very courteous and professional, and accommodated me in nearly one hour to get me in and assess my condition. The fact that I was using up his weekend when I could've had this done on Friday the day before, he told not to worry about it and that's what he was there for was to put the community first and especially when there is a risk to a person's vision. I've been to a few doctors and I know when somebody's blowing hot air. Dr. Jenck was nothing short of sincere and honest when he said it was important and that he didn't mind one bit coming out on his day off. Dr. Jenck and his staff at Tillamook Vision Center as a team and in my book, score an A+ for professionalism, knowledge, skill, courteousness, and being downright down to earth, good people. Not to mention handling emergencies with seamless and effortless skill and compassion to the final conclusion. Away from home, went here with an eye infection. Took lots of pictures. Why? Cost a lot! And they tried to upsell me on their products for an unrelated problem. Felt like I was in a used car lot, not at a doctors office. read more

While on vacation in Manzanita from out of state I aggravated an old eye injury. I was in extreme pain and the team at Tillamook Vision Center got me in right away. They were all very kind and so professional. In about an hour my eye was feeling much better and I was back with my family enjoying our vacation.
