If your car won't start and it isn't the battery, use a car jack handle and a hammer and tap on the starter rhythmically while someone else starts your vehicle. It'll get you to the mechanic if the starter is your issue. Or get AAA Plus membership and it'll save ya money and the frustration of getting a tow company to pick up their phones.

The driver arrived within the timeframe given (about an hour, since the initial dispatch informed me they needed the truck that could go off road instead of the flatbed that was immediately available), hooked up the vehicle well and got us out quickly, then followed us to be sure we didn't get stuck again! The trail was fairly well packed other than the one place we got stuck, and if we had paid attention to the size of the puddle we could have gone around as others did and been fine. We]called the police due to our location on the highway being extremely unsafe and no space to change the tire. The officer arrived and then left us! We couldn't believe he wasn't going to keep his lights on to not only protect us from getting hit by oncoming traffic but also prevent other drivers from hitting the same pothole. Within minutes, Nate arrived, immediately had his flashing lights on, and started diverting traffic to keep everyone in the safest position possible, given the situation.
