Great instructor and a family business of husband and wife. Prices are reasonable and you can test in his car if your car in too big!

So now that he goes I guess I'm really confused how there is 5 stars for this driving academy. 1st on parents night the fella ripped on the parents the whole time. Not knowing us he pretty much told the kids not to listen to us parents when it comes to driving because it's been so long since we've been in drivers Ed..: then he turns and tells the kids respect your parents driving as they are the ones that have kept you in one piece . One dad was turning red in the face . Then the guy mentioned how there are a bunch of cameras in the cars and kids bad attitudes won't be accepted and they will have video... ok what about your driving instructors bad attitudes? Lord! The instructor my son had the first 2 days was new, unprepared, confusing, late and boring. I did ask for a new teacher as the reviews reflected that this school was different than others and a little more fun...a new teacher was assigned....thank you. As for the driving teachers you have a couple dudes there that are complete old jerks and make the kids feel on egg shells. I reported Dennis as my son was like OMG that guys the biggest jerk. One driver teacher boasted about making good money and working OT doing this, but he was an ass and gave a kid a panic attack. I made sure my son didn't have either of these men again. Kids are nervous enough and these guys just yelled. Why do they do this for a living is it just about money? So before you threaten the kids about being good in the car look at these teachers and how they are. I'm still puzzled on how this is a top driving school. Oh well. He's not going back .

Some were minor, and a couple were more serious, but overall I understand why points were deducted. In terms of the instructor's knowledge, I have no complaints. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the rules of the road, explained expectations well, and graded fairly based on my performance. However, my concern is with the overall experience and communication during the test process. On my first attempt, I made a serious mistake by turning left on a red light, which I understand is an automatic failure. I fully accept that outcome. What I found frustrating was that after this happened, we continued driving for another 10-15 minutes before returning to the testing site, without any clear communication that the test had already been failed. As a new driver paying between $70-$120 per test (in my case, $120 twice), I believe it would be more helpful and considerate to either clearly inform the driver that the test has ended or continue the full route so they can better understand what to expect on their next attempt. The lack of communication made the experience confusing and, at times, discouraging. I would also like to comment on the instructor's overall demeanor. While he was knowledgeable and fair in grading, his communication style came across as very blunt and lacked encouragement or basic rapport. There was little effort to create a comfortable or supportive environment before, during, or after the test. While I understand that strictness is part of the role, a more professional and respectful tone would make a significant difference, especially for new drivers who may already be nervous. Overall, the evaluation itself was fair, but the communication and delivery could be improved to create a more professional and supportive experience for new drivers.

Amy's instructor, Erica, was a wonderful teacher. She put Amy, a nervous driver, who had twice failed the test in the past, at ease. Erica calmly and meticulously taught Amy how to drive safely and with confidence. We were both so impressed with Erica and I highly recommend her to families with nervous teens! I saw a night and day difference in Amy's driving and in her confidence level on the road. Erica is a gifted teacher! Amy then took her test with Mike who like Erica was low key and also able to put young drivers at ease. Mike obviously knew his stuff but had such a lovely personality that Amy was not nervous at all. I am unsure if Mike teaches but he seemed to be gifted with young people just like Erica. All-Star has clearly done their due diligence in hiring great staff. Plus when Amy passed with flying colors, Mike seemed almost as proud of her as I was! All-Star was a great help to me. I'm not sure that I would have been able to get Amy comfortable on the road myself because she was so nervous after her previous failures that I didn't feel it was safe to practice with her without help. All-Star was easy to deal with on the phone and provided excellent customer service. They made driving lessons safe, comfortable and easy for Amy giving her the needed information, practice and confidence. For the peace of mind and safety it was well worth the money for private lessons -- especially with such an excellent staff! We are so grateful to the staff at All-Star and recommend them highly!

There was definitely favoritism within the class and also racism among middle eastern students and muslims students within the class. In class the teacher Ms Vee called a middle eastern student from Afghanistan an illegal refugee. She said we should bomb Afghanistan and bring uzis to kill every man there. When driving with her she would constantly bring up irrelevant topics, such as chem trails being the cause of covid, and Prince being killed by the government. She had us listen to a podcast about it for the first ten minutes of driving. She had an obsession with my father and would constantly bring up the idea of him driving with him and me drive to my house to come and see him. She was so rude so to another student calling him and his mother dumb and saying the reason the child couldn't drive was because his parents weren't together. She would pick on him about his hair and was bring it up during class time. When driving with her I was utterly afraid everything I did was wrong and she wouldn't constantly make me feel terrible about myself. One drive with her I couldn't stop crying and shaking even though we were on a side street. I became afraid of her because of how much she put me down and made feel as though I would never ever drive. While crying she told me to stop feeling sorry for myself and would constantly pick on me during class because I wasn't "preppy" anymore. If you are trying to learn how to drive do not go here. The cheap price may attract you but you would learn everything expect for driving. This experience has made me fear driving because of her.

Also, she will cut their drive time if she doesn't like their driving and tell them to put minutes down that they didn't get to drive for. She has the students drive what seems to be her own personal vehicle and she is the only instructor. During the class portion she expects the students to take notes but doesn't give them enough time to write. Overall this driving school is a waste of money, look for a better place!

Rick however, informs the driver clearly and kindly on what they are expected to do and he even adds a nice little "You got this! It'll be okay!" type of touch. Blanzy driving school is absolutely awful, please I recommend anyone to save their money. I came to take my road test today following the address they have posted on Google and it took me through a neighborhood to someone's house-which I think is where the owner of the school may love and accept over the phone booking at. However this is not where the actual testing site is!! This place is an absolute scam that they have running in a random parking lot behind businesses. They literally do not have an actual establishment besides the home in which I believe the receptionist or one of the head instructors is using. I know many people have complained and here I am to add to this especially to the instructor I spoke with today. I was so excited to take my road test finally and do it somewhere in my area but...Blanzy is not the way to go at all!! It is an older Arab lady who was extremely rude. I was late to my appointment because they have the wrong address posted and she proceeded to yell at my mother and I to reschedule even though we were simply trying to explain they have the wrong address posted for their Google profile. I didn't even take my test because she was already testing 2 drivers in the same car!!
