I passed my driving test on my second attempt with a score of 19/25. I want to start by saying I take full accountability for my mistakes as the driver. Some were minor, and a couple were more serious, but overall I understand why points were deducted. In terms of the instructor's knowledge, I have no complaints. He was clearly very knowledgeable about the rules of the road, explained expectations well, and graded fairly based on my performance. However, my concern is with the overall experience and communication during the test process. On my first attempt, I made a serious mistake by turning left on a red light, which I understand is an automatic failure. I fully accept that outcome. What I found frustrating was that after this happened, we continued driving for another 10-15 minutes before returning to the testing site, without any clear communication that the test had already been failed. As a new driver paying between $70-$120 per test (in my case, $120 twice), I believe it would be more helpful and considerate to either clearly inform the driver that the test has ended or continue the full route so they can better understand what to expect on their next attempt. The lack of communication made the experience confusing and, at times, discouraging. I would also like to comment on the instructor's overall demeanor. While he was knowledgeable and fair in grading, his communication style came across as very blunt and lacked encouragement or basic rapport. There was little effort to create a comfortable or supportive environment before, during, or after the test. While I understand that strictness is part of the role, a more professional and respectful tone would make a significant difference, especially for new drivers who may already be nervous. Overall, the evaluation itself was fair, but the communication and delivery could be improved to create a more professional and supportive experience for new drivers. read more

MILTON had a bad attitude this "MAN" I wanted to call him something else but I'm going to keep it professional unlike MILTON, refused to tell me which lane he wanted to turn to and waited until there were 4 to 6 cars coming in close to turn, he forced me to turn on/off the radio and air while on the road. He wanted me to stay directly on 30 mph meanwhile other cars were going 35 to 25 mph, he also gave me a point for not speeding at the ramp when you're not suppose to speed at the ramp you're suppose to go slow he gave me a point because when the light was yellow I was slowing down to stop gently but he wanted me to keep the speed at 50 while it was at Yellow and turn right coming up from the ramp when There were other cars coming close I should have gotten my license but MILTON was on his man Period today so he decided to fail me for things I was doing right which is wrong. read more

ALWAYS, ALWAYS, READ REVIEWS!!! If I had read the reviews before taking my daughter here for her road test, I would've chosen a different company. DO NOT GO HERE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE!!! The set up for the parking portion of the test is not set up correctly !! The instructor was not knowledgeable of the State rules and guidelines as far as deductions. He kept moving the cones making the space smaller without measuring. How do you park in a space smaller than your car? Go somewhere that is experienced and knowledgeable and not pressed for your $70. According to these reviews, this place should've shut down years ago. They need to be investigated. I took photos and will be reporting this. My husband wants his money back!!! read more

Great driving instructor to take my test with and they got me in and out promptly and timely and I even had to register my new car

RIP off! I paid $100, and my son went 30 in a 25mph that's an automatic fail according to them. Going 70mph along with the flow of traffic is an automatic fail. read more

This place gets one star because it was a sham 1st off the appt was at 1 pm we stood there at least 30 min before the instructor got there then when he took my son for the test he failed him on the parking. I know he can park I taught him the last time he was parked in the spot the guy was like ohh you need to do it again however it was fine he would've passed from there he failed him because he had to readjust the car my son tried to ask a question before it began all he could say was I can't answer it but ask anyway what's the point! Then proceeded to tell me I can bring him back in a week I wish I would give them an additional dollar he wouldn't even take him on the rest of the drive where he could've seen if he had anything else he needed to work on beware they want you to pay twice if not 3 times. read more

Greatttttt place to go to for your test and really fair. The inside is spacious because they also run key copy,printing and mailing in the company along with the drivers testing. So they're a jack of all trades in sorts. My trainer was Mario. He really was good at what he did and gave me no pressure. If anything, any pressure I had in the whole situation was what I put on myself. After barely making it through the parking test, we hit the streets and went around until we got back to the store. At the end, he reviews and tallys up all your points and gives you insight on the ride of what to focus on and what your habits are. He was very relaxed and professional, so as long as you're a good upbeat person, this will be a great place to take your test! read more

I give it 3 stars because the experience could have been better. I had a road test scheduled for 10 am and did not get to start it until about 10:45 because they were late opening. Not necessarily a problem. My instructor was Milton. He isn't a bad guy. Not the most friendly but he was not rude. I had seen where reviewers were mentioning how he lead them down a one way street and i couldnt understand what they meant, until it happened to me. Lack of communication he calls it, I call it lack of signage. there was no sign denoting a one way and it follows the path of the street u are instructed to turn on. If this has been an issue with a few drivers, I am not sure why no one has talked to city about it. At any rate it was a fail. I have since rescheduled and will have Milton again. My advice.... even if his demeanor isnt the most friendly, and even if you feel like the questions are "stupid" just ask. Not a bad establishment. Mario was super friendly, but it just could have been a better experience over all. read more

The driving instructor was very helpful to me from the beginning of the test to the end. Walking in I was nervous, but Milton made sure to let me know how serious the test was while also helping me to relax. I did not feel like there were any unreasonable mark downs and he clearly explained how I could improve after the test was complete. I'd definitely recommend this testing location. read more

First impressions are very important. The appointment time was at 11 am. The owner/instructor did not began the session until 11:45 am. He did not apologize or acknowledged the delay. He was not rude, but did not demonstrate inviting customer friendly behavior that would make one feel comfortable. On the website, it states that the experience would take 45 minutes to one hour. However, the site does not explain that the time begins on their watch and not the time of the appointment. This behavior is not demonstrating placing the customer first. I do not recommend this business to anyone unless you have nothing else to do but to wait for paid services. read more

I just passed my road test thanks to Milton for being such an amazing instructor! He made it so much easier for me as I was already nervous going into it but once I started driving with Milton his energy took away my nervousness. Nice people but they told me to go down a one way street that had no sign posted and the snow was horrible, I listened and went down the street as he told me and he gave me an automatic fail with no lenience. I couldn't believe it I was in shock, I did perfect on everything and did the parking great and I failed over him telling me and he knew it wasn't my fault but he said he couldn't change it because I broke the law by going the wrong way on a one way street where he told me to! I'm not familiar with Detroit streets and had no idea it was a one way. They told me to come back and test the next day and I would deff pass. HA sorry no. Never coming back. Mario seemed laid back and understanding wish he would've been my examiner, I had Milton as my examiner. Avoid Milton. ALSO I forgot they were over 30 minutes late on starting our test today! I should've asked for my money back when he was over a half hour late, seriously, very unprofessional. read more
