If there was a "zero star" rating, it would still be too high. Second time there, simply attempting to switch states drivers license. There are three total employees. The first visit: when my number was called, I proceeded with my info to the service counter. The female employee had a look like she had just rolled out of bed, and was definitely not too happy. To make it worse (for me), she literally smelled as if she had just eaten an ashtray. I mean like three feet away, it was unbearable. Her attitude was rude and nasty; she simply pulled out a few forms and handed them to me. Any question I asked (very simple, basic) was answered with a blank stare, and a "it's on the form" answer. In other words, there was ZERO verbal communication available. Leaving, realizing this was never going to occur this day, I went and obtained the info I was "lacking". I returned with said info the following day. Although I had with me a current, valid drivers license, my birth certificate, my social security card, a current bill in my name w/home address, and marriage license; this still was not enough info to "positively identify me". I tried my best to be overly friendly in hopes of not dealing with "the attitude" a second time, but obviously this was not to be. Once again I left empty handed. My family has owned multiple retail business' for over thirty years; and I can assure you, the employees I dealt with wouldn't be suitable for ANY type of public interaction; other than a "government job". The cigarette smell was so bad, I literally stunk like an ashtray in my car after leaving, and actually changed clothes and showered when I got home. Beyond nasty. I will choose any other DMV location from now on; I don't care how much farther away it is, or the wait time. NOTHING could make this location "worth it". read more
