They were so far behind that after 5 days on site, maybe 4 hours of total work was completed but they want to claim 200 hours. They then say that my mother, who was onsite is lying. Joe, who we tried to fire because he was messing up so bad needs to change his career (he actually got fired due to almost burning down a Temple), also not professional that we were even told about it by his lead. He then proceeded to use our personal material to fix where he messed up. Then Darren, the lead, may admit that he messed up in text, but as soon we got the bill, he sure was fast to say my mother was wrong. He also needs to learn some professionalism. He also needs to know that he should not be brining his family to a job site, let alone a customers property. Finally this company needs to rethink how this business is ran. There is a lot more that needs to be said and they should be shutdown but my mother has a good heart and it's getting her screwed. Others please be warned of Nelson Electric.

On the scheduled day, I took time off work, only to receive a call 30 minutes after they were supposed to arrive saying they could now order the correct part directly from the manufacturer--something they had previously claimed was impossible. To proceed, I had to pay in full immediately. Fast forward three months, and I still didn't have a working fireplace. For weeks, I was repeatedly told, "It should arrive next week." Finally, after expressing my frustration, I got a call at 5:00 PM saying they had located the part, expedited shipping, and could complete the repair the next day. I took another day off work. The technician arrived--but with the wrong part. Instead of tracking down the actual component, they gave him a universal one that didn't fit. They then assured me the correct part would arrive in two days. This time, my wife took the day off work. The technician showed up an hour and a half late (after I had called and reminded them we had rearranged our schedules for this), but they finally made the repair. Other issues worth noting: I was promised a callback from a manager or owner--still waiting on that. Their phone system is a mess. Every time I was placed on hold (which was often), someone else would pick up and begin a different conversation. I would explain who I was and they would say "oh, let me put you back on park." The three coldest months of winter without my primary heat source, multiple days off work, countless phone calls, and constant misinformation (what my generation would call lies).
