One star is generous for this place. I obtained an insurance policy through their agent Jenn. She…read morecompletely lied to me about what my options for insurance were. Specifically, she told me the largest deductible I was allowed to have was $500.00 because that is required by my car's lien holder. Additionally, she told me my lien holder required I have to have specific amounts of coverage, in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. I was foolish enough to think she was honest and have insured through them for over a year. I actually spoke with my lien holder yesterday who informed me that none of those things were true: my deductible can be $1,000 and the limits she said I had to have are not only false they are ridiculous given what car I have and the fact I have no assets. Basically, she lied so I had to pay for a much more expensive policy than was necessary. When I confronted her with her lies her response was to lie again and say that what she told me was "it was her company's policy" to have these limits - - 100% NOT TRUE!! Their only "company policy" is to screw people over so they can make more money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE!!!

Cleary 'bought' my policy from another agency. I never heard a word from them-no friendly…read morecheck-ins, no calls to make sure we had the right coverage/enough insurance,...nothing. Last month, when a tree came through our roof, I couldn't even get the agent on the phone, and so I called the insurance company directly. An adjuster came right out to assess the damage, and the insurer cut a check. The only problem was that they paid it to a mortgagee who was paid off more than a decade ago. When I called the agent to get this corrected, he put it back on ME to deal with the insurer, but said he would call to 'get it expedited'-that the new check would be sent to me the day the insurer received the bad check back. As I have a giant hole in my roof and we live in New England, with really bad weather expected, I asked if I could txt or email a photo of the voided check to speed things up...he refused to even ask if that was an option. I asked him for the street address of the insurer, so that I could overnight the information...he said "they don't have one on their website, but I'll make sure they get the right check to you the day they receive the bad one." That was last week. I called the insurer today, and they've had the bad check since Monday, but never heard anything from the agent, and so didn't realize the urgency. They're cutting the check today. No surprise, the Cleary Insurance agent wasn't available to speak to me today, either. His only suggestion was to get the roof replaced before the claim was paid, because it's 'the homeowners duty to prevent further damage to the property". So at least we know he can read from the manual. I wish he knew how I might come up with an extra $10k from thin air to fix the roof before the claim is paid. These people take a commission from your insurance premiums and do NOTHING to help you when you need it. I told the lady in their office today that mine may be only one policy lost for them because of poor service, but I'll do everything one person can do to make sure others know how lazy and ineffective they are. I had to manage my own claim ENTIRELY. CLEARY INSURANCE DID NOTHING.

I've had the unfortunate experience of dealing with them because of workers' compensation. It took…read morethem FIVE WEEKS to send me my check because they got my address wrong (& still waiting for other checks. It's been over 2 months now). Then, after so many weeks, they mentioned direct deposit. I said great, this will be faster. Why they didn't tell me in the beginning I have no idea. But I told them I would set it up that day but they didn't bother waiting and instead just mailed another check. Which I suppose is a good thing because, to this day, 4 weeks after not receiving my check the first time, their website says "still processing" on my direct deposit. And I'm STILL waiting for reimbursement on medication because they didn't tell me I'd be receiving a prescription card (3 weeks after I reported it) and by that time I had already gotten all my medication. Later on I had to get more and their prescription card was not accepted at my pharmacy. Pathetic. I resend and resend emails ALL THE TIME and their rep, when she finally deigns to reply, doesn't answer any of the questions in my email. So I have to resend again restating my questions in the previous emails. She's extremely rude and impolite so I flat out told her that she's not answering any of the questions in the emails. By the time I get an email answered several weeks have passed. Very poor service and lack of communication. I told my company they should reconsider who handles their workers' comp. Gallagher Bassett is completely incapable and incompetent.

Would leave a zero star review if I could. First, they assigned me an adjusted based in a different…read morecountry who I couldn't contact. Finally got an adjuster assigned, and went through hoops to get the car appraised. Even the body shop said this was the worst experience they've had working with insurance. Then, I was assigned a new adjuster - Jennifer Hatcher - who literally ignored me for a week (called daily, left voicemails, sent emails, even figured out who her supervisor was and tried to contact her, as well, who was also useless) before I was able to figure out how to go above her head and contact the branch manager. Worst experience ever.
