The owner called me and said she would give me a gift card if I took my review off Google so I did. She sent me a $10 gift card... so instead of paying $30 dollars I could pay $20 for a shit job. Today I went back hoping they improved. Absolutely not. I wish I could upload photos because there is so much dirt, hair, and crumbs left on my dash, floor, and center consol. It's no wonder you can't leave a review on Google for this place anymore because all of them would be bad. My advice to you is pay the $10 at Kwik Trip because you will pay for the same amount of service for a third of the price.

When I showed the manager this last time my tires were not done he left me in the parking lot took my jeep to the front copped an attitude and put my jeep in 4WD LOW turned on my air conditioning put the air conditioning on and turned the knob to cold and put the jeep not on defrost but circulation. He had since been promoted and the service and customer service has taken a serious hit. They tried to take my tires off and in the process strip my lug nuts and claim it was on too tight. I go home and try to take them off and was able to no problem. They changed my oil and for whatever reason did not tighten the oil filter. I had oil leaking for 80 miles on the road without noticing until I arrived home to see that there was a huge pile of oil in my drive way. I called this location and had them tow my truck back to inspect and fill additional oil. They tighten the filter and "fixed" the issue. These guys are not fit to work on your car. Don't waste your time here.

I called and spoke with owner Matt at 8am on a Monday morning. He went above and beyond to help me. I took my car to the Tuffys Appleton on College ave by 1030 and I was presented with a loaner car. For those who wait for their vehicles, the waiting area was very comfortable with couches, complete with fresh coffee and toys for kids. help me get the word out there that Al's transmission and Auto in Manitowoc Wisconsin is not a safe…read moreor reputable business to take your vehicle for repairs or servicing me and Marissa took our vehicle there as a referral from another auto shop that doesn't work on transmissions Al's transmission did not follow the proper steps they were supposed to send an estimate to the insurance company and get authorization to do work on the transmission instead they just went ahead worked on the transmission and then tried billing the insurance company and the insurance company said they weren't paying because they didn't authorize then they tried billing us for the work which we did not authorize we are now currently in the process of suing them for the vehicle and the unauthorized repairs and since the court case is now going they have went and placed a mechanics lien to take the vehicle and sell it instead of just owning up to their screw up given the vehicle back or waiting for the court case to be finished me being the nice guy that I am before all this started I tried working out a deal with else transmission Craig Lisa you name them and they refused I didn't want to see a shop get screwed over their money because they didn't follow the proper steps when they fixed our truck but they shot us down every step of the way that we tried finding some middle ground with them I can't emphasize this enough do not trust ales transmission and auto with your vehicle.
