As a client, I think it's reasonable to want to understand my tax situation and ask a few questions before having my return prepared. I was essentially told that if I wanted him to do my taxes, I needed to simply drop off my paperwork and that was it. There are many tax professionals who not only do quality work but also take the time to communicate with their clients and answer questions. Because of my experience with Dan's attitude and lack of customer service, I won't be returning, and I can't recommend Sutherland Tax Services.
