First of all, Aaron picked up the phone and called me within two hours of my inquiry, whereas other companies just sent me back messy, unprofessional emails. Aaron and I talked for a bit, I told him what I was looking for, he tempered my expectations (politely, I might add!) and he told me what kinds of services were available and what he would recommend. He sent me over a contract very promptly and it was very easy to make the decision to choose Impact. Out of the gate, I knew that if we went with Impact, we would be in very good hands. Aaron wasn't hesitant to call me so that we could discuss details and pricing on the phone; he went so far as to call me to verify all of the details we had discussed over phone calls and emails just to make sure he had everything down right. As the day got closer, there were some details that I just hadn't had time to finalize. Aaron called me to gently remind me that he needed them and in the end, we chatted on the phone and figured it all out in 10 minutes! He was able to provide appropriate music recommendations for the various parts of our ceremony and reception and basically helped me finish all those last minute choices. We didn't have an MC and I wanted a DJ that would be able to handle that piece of the day and Aaron NAILED it. People thought that he was a close personal friend, that's how good of an MC he is! He kept the momentum going throughout the night and kept in touch with me as things changed or if we had any hiccups. We can't say enough great about Aaron - our guests are still raving about the dance floor (we ended up having TWO dance floors because people were having so much fun dancing) and how great the music was. He played all of our songs and he was great at mixing songs together and playing off the crowd. He was polite and punctual and definitely made our wedding a memorable one. We saw the equipment they had was great, good sound, good uplighting, moving lighting, LCD screens. They had great music and played videos on the LCD screens around the dance floor. We were also really impressed with Elliot's MC-ing, he was really engaging, a good speaker and funny. We wanted the same experience at our wedding. Unfortunately it was not the same for us. Initially they had told us that they were going to ask us a lot of questions to help us plan and figure out what we want. My husband came up with a play list and they said that was not a problem. We were not able to get in touch with them until 2 weeks before the wedding to do the final planning, organizing the layout at the venue, go over the itinery of the reception and just the last minute details. I felt like it was really rushed and I was not able to thoroughly think through all the details and all of the options that we had. They had initially led us to believe that they were really experienced and would help us through the process quickly and we would not need that much time, which I found was not the case. And here is the bomb. We had initially booked them specifying that we had wanted Elliot to be the DJ/MC at our wedding becasue we were impressed with his performance at our friend's wedding. But two weeks before our wedding Elliot told us there's a possibility that he wouldn't be able to make it due to health reasons. Whether this is true or not of course we cannot verify. Of course, once he said that we kind of knew he wasn't coming. He said he would send someone as good as him but in his place this corny goofy, Full-house dad-looking guy showed up. He was not funny, kind of cheesy, was not on cue, was not able to follow the itinery of the night and help us keep track of what was coming up and tell us what's next, decided to play music he thought was appropriate and didn't stick to our list. Just did not give us the experience we had wanted through his MC-ing and leading the games. It was just really really disappointing to us since the MC can lead or change the mood of the event and of the whole night. Honestly, I don't know if Elliot really didn't show up for some legitimate reasons or it was some sort of excuse to go to another bigger and better event. Even if he had a legitimate reason, someone as experienced as him in this field would be able to know who is a good replacement for him, and he could have recommended someone better and more of the same style and caliber as him. He eluded that he was not able to help us plan earlier because he had some health issues, if that was the case, he could have told us earlier that he was not up for the job and we could have found someone else, there's so many ways this could have be resolved better. Needless to say we were highly, highly disappointed with our experience with EJ entertainment, and the effects it made on our wedding is forever.

Great guy. Loved working with him when I hired him for my wife's birthday and he's just a super talent. Hes the ready Bouzouki player in Toronto. Shows up early with all his equipment organised and sets up and puts on a great show every time. He sings and plays bouzouki AND he DJs, he's the whole package. I think he has other accessories as well ask him about that for your next event! I will say this, loved the prices hes quoted me in the past, thank you Nick, but I think you're worth more.
