First of all, Aaron picked up the phone and called me within two hours of my inquiry, whereas other companies just sent me back messy, unprofessional emails. Aaron and I talked for a bit, I told him what I was looking for, he tempered my expectations (politely, I might add!) and he told me what kinds of services were available and what he would recommend. He sent me over a contract very promptly and it was very easy to make the decision to choose Impact. Out of the gate, I knew that if we went with Impact, we would be in very good hands. Aaron wasn't hesitant to call me so that we could discuss details and pricing on the phone; he went so far as to call me to verify all of the details we had discussed over phone calls and emails just to make sure he had everything down right. As the day got closer, there were some details that I just hadn't had time to finalize. Aaron called me to gently remind me that he needed them and in the end, we chatted on the phone and figured it all out in 10 minutes! He was able to provide appropriate music recommendations for the various parts of our ceremony and reception and basically helped me finish all those last minute choices. We didn't have an MC and I wanted a DJ that would be able to handle that piece of the day and Aaron NAILED it. People thought that he was a close personal friend, that's how good of an MC he is! He kept the momentum going throughout the night and kept in touch with me as things changed or if we had any hiccups. We can't say enough great about Aaron - our guests are still raving about the dance floor (we ended up having TWO dance floors because people were having so much fun dancing) and how great the music was. We had a meeting a couple weeks before the wedding in which we listed must play artists and some on the absolutely do not play list. It seems he reversed this list completely. The biggest complaint from guests was his use of the Portuguese curse word carai (maybe appropriate for a bachelor party, not a wedding). Guests really enjoyed the photo-booth and we had a blast looking through all the photos on the USB the attendant supplied us with at the end of the night.

We booked with her and then met up a few months later in person to discuss our musical tastes. She TOTALLY "got us" and our vibe and made some great suggestions on what to play, including introducing us to Lizzo. After meeting with her in person, we felt so excited to dance at our wedding! Day of, working with Lucie was perfect. She set up equipment outside for our ceremony and inside for cocktail hour. She is a total professional, which was especially evident when we noticed that our processional song was running out before we walked down the aisle (our coordinator mis-timed it) and Lucie seemlessly looped the song back. We also had Lucie take on some of the MC skills and she was awesome, not to mention very understanding when it came to all of my last minute emails beforehand. When it came to the actual dance floor it was amazing, I actually never left the dance floor! We had also booked a photo booth with them and it was 100% worth it - our guests had a blast with the props and the photos really did come out great. Julian, our DJ, played the music that I had wanted through out the night and there were no songs that showed up from my do not play list and he was really good at gauging the crowd's mood. Plus the kids at the reception had a blast with the glow bracelets that were handed out at the wedding. Pricing was pretty reasonable and it didn't blow my budget. Max really did work with our budget to try and give us what we were looking for.

My guests had an amazing time and raved about how much fun they had in the closed photo booth setting. It was great getting a digital copy of all the photos the same day.
