I first found out about DJ Richterscale (Erik) on Thumbtack. It was about 2 months before our wedding and the DJ we originally hired was no longer able to DJ for us. I went on thumbtack and received a bunch of responses to my post but DJ Richterscale stood out to us. We contacted him immediately and he was quick to respond and able to meet with us within a few days. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting him we knew it was only for the best that our first DJ didn't work out. We met with him for about an hour and he already had a good idea of what kind of music we liked and didn't like. Within a few days he sent us a ton of music choices for all of the dances (mother/son, father/daughter, cake cutting, etc.). The day of our wedding Erik was awesome! He set up everything he needed for the ceremony only to find out by the wedding coordinator that it all had to be moved. He was able to quickly move everything around and get settled before the ceremony was set to start. Also, our wedding coordinator had to leave the reception early and Erik was able to take over and keep things going. He was the one to coordinate the grand entrance, the toasts, releasing tables to eat, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss/garter removal and all of the dancing in between.
