I first found out about DJ Richterscale (Erik) on Thumbtack. It was about 2 months before our wedding and the DJ we originally hired was no longer able to DJ for us. I went on thumbtack and received a bunch of responses to my post but DJ Richterscale stood out to us. We contacted him immediately and he was quick to respond and able to meet with us within a few days. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting him we knew it was only for the best that our first DJ didn't work out. We met with him for about an hour and he already had a good idea of what kind of music we liked and didn't like. Within a few days he sent us a ton of music choices for all of the dances (mother/son, father/daughter, cake cutting, etc.). The day of our wedding Erik was awesome! He set up everything he needed for the ceremony only to find out by the wedding coordinator that it all had to be moved. For example the best man made a large reference to Seinfeld during his best man speech and at the conclusion of the speech Erik played a clip from the Seinfeld theme song. Hilarious, everyone laughed!! He takes the time to get to know you as a couple, what music you grew up with, what music genres you prefer, what to put on your do not play list, and has a professional way of handling requests by guests.
