I would not recommend this DJ for a wedding. He was provided to us by our venue, I did not have a say. I will say his communication was great up to wedding day. He seemed to be on board with all our requests, we met at rehearsal, and he was very professional. I am not sure what happened on wedding day, but his speakers sounded god awful (like they were blown), he played the wrong entrance song (which was the biggest deal to me, because we practiced for weeks with our song- then had the audacity to say on the microphone "uhhhh, well i dont know how that happened"), he didn't follow the itinerary when to transition songs, we provided him our Playlist and the first few songs gs of the night we had nonidea what they were, we ordered a fog machine (didnt get it), and lastly, a bunch of our guests approached us that night and the nect day stating "your dj seemed out of it all night. Just staring off into space". Also, after the wedding, my photographers informed me that just before the ceremony began, one of his speakers sounded like it was going to explode with the high static noise and ringing. Went on for like 20 seconds before the dj realized what was happening. All the guests were plugging their ears.
Needless to say, I was mortified. And to mess up on the very first song of the night, how does that happen???
After all of that, I never received an apology from him. Nothing the next day or anything. My husband said he did say he was sorry to him that night, but I never got one.
The music is supposed to be the fun part of the night, and it just sounded terrible. The venue told me the next day they had never even heard of him and they usually use a different dj- so not sure what that was about, but did not appreciate it. I have since spoke with the owners of the event company, and they did mention he is not someone they usually use and they would no longer be using his services.
Do your research and meet up with djs prior to wedding day if you can! read more
