Our guests enjoyed all the music he played we danced our little hearts away! We also used him for our photobooth and sparklers. Photobooth was good I like that it came with an attendant in case anything needed fixing. He worked with me to create a template for our theme. It was the perfect souvenir to our wedding. The sparklers were unfortunately not going off, we got 4 and only 1 was going off. However I saw Carlos working hard trying to fix the malfunction during the reception, he immediately messaged us the following day to refund us for the sparklers that were not working up to his standards. I really appreciated this!! Would definitely recommend and will continue to use his services in the future!

What can I even say. The man is absolutely incredible. If you're looking for a guitarist, not only…read moreis he affordable, he's amazing. Absolutely freakin' amazing. I don't even have words to say how happy I was with his performance at our wedding. All I can say is thank you, and thank you again; and my goodness bro, thank you! We wanted a Spanish guitarist for our wedding, but we also wanted someone who can play traditional guitar as well. Like I said before, I don't even know what to say. Everything he played was perfection. I'm definitely a perfectionist (as he probably could tell when we met) which by the way, he had no problem doing. He responded to my emails, met up with my wife and I, and although he's a professional; he was humble enough to listen to everything we wanted to say, which is extremely important in a vendor. Not only did Rico meet my expectations, he surpassed them. Completely. Here were some of my initial concerns. I knew he could play the Spanish guitar (because I heard him in his videos) but I had no idea if he could play traditional guitar, because I hadn't heard him do so. He assured me that he could, so I really had to trust him. Not only could he play the traditional guitar, he could play it so amazingly beautiful. I would now trust this dude to do anything. I wouldn't even have to meet up with him. I'd just say, Rico, play this, and I promise you, he can.

We hired The Platinum Djs for my daughter's quinceañera, and while our overall experience was…read moresatisfactory, there were several issues throughout the planning process. One of the most important moments for me was the mother-daughter dance. During our final meeting, we specifically requested that the custom song mix we created -- including my daughter's voice recording -- be played in its entirety. Unfortunately, this request was not fulfilled on the night of the event, which was disappointing for our family because this is a night we won't get to redo. We also experienced a miscommunication regarding the monogram request and the deadline for its submission. I had called to request a quote for the monogram a month prior to the event but the quote was never received. As a result, we were unable to have the monogram displayed at the quinceañera as intended because by the time we had our final meeting we were informed that the monogram had to be requested at least 2 weeks in advance and a reminder for the quote should have been requested again. Based on our experience, I would recommend maintaining a consistent communication and following up multiple times prior to the event, as we were told that there are many clients being served simultaneously. Despite that, during the event Carlos was on time and did a good job of keeping the celebration lively, and our guests appeared to enjoy themselves overall.
