It is around this time that the Mariachi costumes became elaborate taking inspiration from Jalisco charros, Mexican ranchers and cowboys. By the middle of the 20th century, mariachi music had made its way into US culture, first in California, then throughout the southwest, and eventually throughout the nation. Mariachi has now become one of the most recognizable Latin music types. Carrying the Mariachi torch in South Florida is the Mariachi Show Mexicanisimo. This musical group can be hired to perform at your private events including birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations. I was able to watch them perform at a friends milestone birthday celebration. The singers had great harmony and they can sing in both Spanish and English. They offer 30 and 50 minute performances. Little did she know that by dragging me up to sing a Sublime song with her that night, she would be starting off a love affair/obsession that would consume several drink-fueled nights. His selection is vast and organized, which is rare and greatly appreciated but most of all I have to say that I find Bernie to be the *MOST* fair of all KJ's. He doesn't play favorites, he won't be swayed by drunk nor flirt, he is straight and true to the end of the night and in a town, or bar, full of shady folk that is highly admirable IMO. So, this round of "Hopelessly Devoted" is for you Bernie. Five nights a week, you can find Bernie laying down the sweet tunes from Se7as to Tom's to Se7as to Holleman's to Se7as! Of course, my fav spot wit T-Spoon is Se7as!! I've been going to that spot to karaoke with Bernie for about a year now. There's a great group of regulars, who are quite entertaining too. But back to Bernie... Bernie is always fair in the karaoke lineup. If you put in a song, you sing. In that order. Seems simple enough, but there's plenty of other KJs in and around Miami, who don't play by any rules and let their friends and regulars hog the mic. Bernie even keeps an eye on those folks who are trying to sneak in and duet on every person's song - which can actually be pretty hilarious to watch sometimes. So no more excuses Yelpies, even if you can't possible make it out on a school night then you got Friday and Saturday to hit it up. & T-Spoon & I will see yo there!!

As an adult…read moreliving in contemporary times, it becomes very easy to feel dragged into the avalanche of responsibilities, work and that terrible "rush to nowhere" that affects us all. To me, this school is my scape, my breath of fresh air, and actually the space for myself, where I can actually turn back in time and be young again (yup! Pretty much like teleporting!). I've taken vocal lessons, drum lessons and belonged to adult band for about 4 years now, and everything has been just beautiful and so fulfilling. They are my family. They actually move me away from my personal reality and get me into a space for freedom, my freedom. And that is priceless. In regards to the staff, Heather, she is one of the most lovable persons I've ever met. Always there to help, with her amazing personality and smile; and Chris, the school director, wow, he is the dream-maker, so caring and so engaged to the students, always understanding and really a genius on its own. All the teachers I've met are highly skilled in their instruments and are incredible human beings. From what I see, little kids and young kids are always in heaven, grasping all these rocking opportunities, understanding what amazing music is, and the level of learning and music education is just amazing. I love you guys! Thanks for being so great, and for inspiring us to become better musicians each and every day!

Prior to checking out, I checked the price of the strap and capo online to see if I could get it cheaper and I was quite shocked to see they were the same price. I purchased everything there.
