Did my cousins wedding, stared at the bridesmaid the whole time 2 stars cause he played decent music

we got married in 2021 and was promised Dennis and his second DJ. he left right after my ceremony and left his son all on his own, AFTER telling me both would be there the entire night. I paid for both DJs meals and the food sat there. he left his son in the dark on the playlist, and did not even care. he left to play CORNHOLE. I don't recommend them. his son did his best, but I was very disappointed in Dennis. read more

Awful DJ Service. Hired him to DJ at my wedding. Dennis did not show up. Without advising us, he sent a different DJ to the event. Played the most vulgar, tasteless songs (when I say vulgar, i mean the worst possible OFFENSIVE songs you could think of). All of the older guests were offended. My Fiance and I spent a lot of time compiling a list of songs for the DJ to play. He barely played any. I'm guessing our song list was not even considered? The DJ showed up late, was still setting up his equipment as the wedding was started. He got our first dance song wrong! The most important song of the night, he played the wrong song! Contacted Dennis afterwards, to complain. He hasn't done anything for us at all! Such a disappointment! AWFUL SERVICE!! read more

would give a half star if i could. Worst experience ever. Hired for my wedding reception, and the "dj" he sent to perform had no idea what was going on. Was at the open bar drinking beer more than he was doing his job. Did not have any of the songs that we picked out prior to the wedding, claimed he didn't know about them. Played music no one wanted to dance to for the majority of the night. All of my guests complained about him, and when i contacted Dennis to let him know what happened, he did not feel the need to respond to any of my 3 messages. Horrible customer service. Pay extra money to hire someone else, or go with DJ Brian K who would go above and beyond for 200 dollars less. read more

If I were able to give this company more than 5 stars I would. From start to finish Dennis went out of his way to make sure our wedding was absolutely perfect. He has a planning website that I was able to log on to, as well as my guests to put in requests for songs ahead of time and could even make a list of songs we didn't want played. It was so nice to be able to customize our playlist for months ahead of time and didn't have to even think about it as we were enjoying our special day, although guests could also put in their requests the day of, the music selection was exactly what we wanted. He went out of his way to come meet us at a location that was convenient for us as we don't live nearby, and again met us when we decided on a few changes. The sound system and lights he brought were above and beyond our expectations and he brought another lovely man with him as an assistant that I can't remember his name but he was dancing with our guests, the children, and handing out party favors and toys. He also brings a camera and took hundreds of pictures for us that we received which was a great bonus to the pictures our photographer took. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Dennis entertainment. Thank you so much for making our wedding truly the best day of our lives! read more

Words can't even express how amazing of a person and how wonderful of a job Dennis does! I wish I knew about yelp years ago so I could've given such great reviews! The first time I experienced his service, was for my Sweet 16 and he did an amazing job! It was a formal occasion and he showed up dressed for the event. It's not easy to keep teenagers busy on the dance floor because they usually lose interest quick but he kept us dancing all night! It couldn't have been a better party and that is what truly made my party a great time. 2 years later I begged my parents to hire him for my graduation party because I refused to have anybody else and once again he did such an amazing job. He makes sure to ask if it's a formal or casual event so he knows what to wear and as always, never fails to disappoint. Once again he had everyone on their feet, having a great time. Something I find absolutely amazing about him is that my husband secretly hired him to help with a dance flash mob to propose to me on the football field where we met in high school! It might've been something that was quick and out of the ordinary but he was super excited to do it and it was an awesome experience and also his first time ever doing it! The last time I experienced Dj Dennis was of course for my wedding a couple months ago and I never would've thought he could get any better but he did! He showed up dressed for the occasion, set up amazing lights, and had a fog machine that I wanted so bad for my husband and I's special first dance. He made sure to get all the information possible that he needed to know, the wedding party (for the announcements), he had a music list for my husband and I to fill out with what songs we absolutely needed and what not to play and even a list for our GUESTS to request before and during the wedding. He has the best attitude possible and always creates and keeps a crowd on the floor! My wedding was absolutely perfect and if I had somebody else Dj I honestly don't think it would've been as great. I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone I know and I will without a doubt have him for any future parties & my future children's parties. Do yourself a favor and HIRE DJ DENNIS!!! read more
