Very disappointed I made a half deposit for Rue 3 to play for my 75th birthday in November 2026 on…read morethe fifth day after making a deposit the venue said they could not accommodate outside entertainment I sent the email to Rue 3 and asked if I could get a refund since the reservation was for seven months away and it was only five days since I reserved then, their contract said no refund on deposit so I asked for at least half back since it was seven months before the event and they did not respond to even give back half since the event was seven months away and not a short cancellation request, it showed lack of care for a customer to keep the entire deposit. I made the deposit before I got the contract emailed to me for my signature because I trusted Phil which was the wrong thing to do something I won't do again.

I asked one of the two young men, if he could assist me. I was at the point of giving us (leaving it near recycling bin) when the second young man, joined and assisted. They were handling the bounce houses, directly in front of the Police Station. Not only that, they even placed it inside the carrying case and loaded into the back of my car. The "magic parlor" is in a space on Exposition near Fair Park. There's street parking or a couple of paid lots if the street is full. The space is pretty small, but didn't feel cramped with 50 or so guests. I booked my ticket online for $20 through Prekindle. You can also pay another $10 to reserve seats in the front two rows. We strolled in and they checked us in. Seats were first come first serve so we were in the very back. My friend brought in his cooler of booze, but I also noticed there were a few free bottles of wine at the front and some bottle water. Very nice! David Jessup a local comedian opened the show and was the MC all night between acts with the help of Audrey Grace who opened and closed the curtains and held up the applause sign when David was bombing (haha). There were a couple of burlesque dancers at this show. One, Bethany Summersizzle, danced a few times. The other, Jai Le Bait did crazy stunts like swallow a knife! Confetti Eddie is the main performer and he reminded me of the old timey black and white movies where the folks didn't talk. He was so cute and charming. He did a few corny magic tricks that were still very fun to watch! Popper Zander was on hand this Friday night and played a few songs of her own that went well the night's burlesque/side show theme. Overall we had such a fun night. It's kind of awesome turning your cell phone off for an hour or so and enjoying a show with live performers. Both were very good and the tricks were fun. The venue is very intimate and had only seats 50 or so - which meant that virtually all of the audience had the chance to participate in the show at some point. The show itself had several acts along with two musical interludes from the Wild Natives (who were also quite good). Afterwards the performers invite the audience for drinks at one of the bars close by. We had a great time and would recommend it.

Enough times now, when I call or text they do not ask for my name or address. We usually rent one for our BBQ's, New Years, birthday party's, and family get togethers. I can't say enough positive things about Top Shelf. Their mix drink quality is awesome. We have tried numerous of their mixes in the past. And haven't found one that was bad yet. Their machines have alway been very clean from top to bottom. Not once have they ever dropped off machine that was sticky any where or had left over residue in the tanks. Most of all for me it's an old school company. They are very professional and have amazing customer service. No up sales or hidden after cost. What your told is the price. We have used numerous other places in the past. So from experience a lot of places advertise a lower price. But after you buy the mixes and rent the 5 gallon jug blah blah. You end paying the same price or more. And no where near the quality of drinks or level of customer service. Plus worse of all other vendors have shown up with a dirty, sticky machine or with residue in the tanks from the last party. We end up having to clean their machine for them. Before we can even use the machine. Top Shelf as a courtesy will mix the Margarita mixes up for you. And get the machine started for you. I like to mix my own. So you don't have to worry if you mixed it right or worry about the drinks being served. Other places won't even do that. They drop the machine off and tell you to read the bottle and adios. We won't use anyone but Top Shelf from here out! I know it was long but I believe helping out the companies that go the full mile and you got what your paid for. And your not just sorta happy or content. FYI I add a bottle of Grand Marnier to their recipe. That's just me
