David Cole Snook truly makes wedding magic!!!! Our day was absolutely perfect due to David Cole…read moreSnook! Everything was beyond what we could've even imagined. We cannot stop talking about how truly perfect the day was because of David! His attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to truly create our vision amazed myself and all of our guests! Everyone could not stop raving about how gorgeous the setup was and how seamless the transitions were from one phase of the wedding to the next- that was absolutely a reflection of all of David's work and love that he put into the space! When it came to the rehearsal, it is common that wedding coordinators can be pushy, humorless, and impatient. David was anything but. Preparing and instructing two dozen people (including little children) to be ready for the big day can be a stressful task and David demonstrated only tact and professionalism. He was assertive and clear on what needed to be done and was respectful to everyone involved. David had recommended that my husband and I see the reception area prior to the guests. It was such a special moment for us to share together in the beautiful space he had created. He is also the most prepared person I've ever met. There was not a single scenario that he was not ready for and did not have a solution for. I could write on and on about how vital David was in making our day one we will truly never ever forget!!!

Kraig took the time to know us as a couple, and ensured our day was all we could have dreamed of. He is super personable and made it a priority to make connections with us and our guests. I had gone to a few other weddings that Kraig has done in the past and always knew I needed him to be part of my day someday. The response time from everyone on the team was impeccable and they always eased my worries, which was huge for me being an anxious "covid bride." Kraig personally visited our home and held an in depth meeting with me and my husband so he could get to know us both better to personalize his services for our wedding. I did not hire a wedding planner, so I was doing everything on my own and having Kraig's assistance, opinions, and ideas were SO beneficial in the planning process. He is knowledgable, dependable, and cares so much about his clients. We had rave reviews from our reception about how much everyone loved the DJ and how involved he was in the ceremony. The uplighting add-on service at our venue truly made the reception memorable! Kraig went above and beyond to fix an issue we ran into with confusion with the bank and he couldn't have been more patient or kind while it was worked out. He also provided us with a soundtrack of our big day as a keepsake, along with a bottle of wine and an ENTIRE BAG full of emergency items for the day of. Thank you for everything you do, Kraig!!!

Do not use this DJ service -- it was the most unprofessional vendor we have ever hired. The owner…read morepresents himself as offering a discount for paying upfront, but in our experience, this appeared to be a tactic to secure full payment before the event. He then sent an employee who arrived with her boyfriend; both appeared to be under the influence of a substance (not alcohol) and behaved unprofessionally throughout. The DJ arrived late and did not start playing music until 50 minutes after the contracted start time, violating the 4-hour service agreement. Several guests -- many of whom are medical professionals -- noticed and commented on their impaired appearance. The DJ frequently cut songs mid-way, skipped over half of the requested playlist, and at one point asked for our Wi-Fi access so she and her boyfriend could sit in the van and play music remotely. Rather than making up for the lost time, they ended the service promptly at 4:00 p.m., took food from the party, and left. When contacted about these issues, the owner dismissed our concerns because he was not present, refused to take responsibility for his employee's conduct, and initially offered to refund half the payment. He later reversed that offer, citing irrelevant reasons such as the tip amount and untrue claims that we threatened him. Our request was simple -- reimbursement for the hour of service we paid for but did not receive. The owner refused. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business. Also Todd never addresses the real concerns and deflects to irrelevant issues. He will insult you how you planned your party attempting to provoke a reaction from you. He is a shady person and would not advise anyone using his services.

I first learned about Plantscapes by Design while browsing the vendor list for the PA Home & Garden…read moreShow. As a relatively new (and rapidly evolving) houseplant enthusiast, I immediately got excited when I saw they would be set up at the event. Naturally, checking out their booth quickly made it onto my "must visit" list for the day. I stopped by their booth on the final day of the show, just a few hours before closing, and was pleasantly surprised to find it still very well stocked with a great variety of plants -- both small starter plants and larger, more established ones. Everything looked incredibly healthy and clearly well cared for, which is always the first thing I look for when considering bringing a new plant home. Their prices were also very reasonable. Starter plants were available for around $3, and medium-sized, well-established plants with lots of growth potential were generally in the $10-$15 range, which felt very budget-friendly compared to many plant vendors. They also had much larger statement plants available for sale, though I made the wise decision not to even look too closely at those. I have to demonstrate some type of control over my life. One thing I especially loved was their "Adopted Plants" table, where customers could leave their purchases safely while continuing to walk around the show. That thoughtful touch made it much easier to browse the rest of the event without carrying plants around all afternoon. They also had a really fun Plant Bar set up where people could create their own custom plant arrangements to take home, which looked like a great activity for anyone wanting a more hands-on plant experience. I ended up bringing home three new plants, including a Goldfish plant that I'm especially excited about adding to my collection. The folks working at the booth were friendly, welcoming, and happy to offer helpful plant advice. It was clear they genuinely enjoy what they do, which always makes supporting a small business feel even better. My only real complaint? That Plantscapes by Design doesn't have a brick-and-mortar shop where I could spend hours wandering around looking at plants. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on their social media to see where they'll pop up next so I can make another visit. My houseplant collection appears to be developing a strong growth strategy...and I'm simply along for the ride.
