Let me get this out of the way in case you don't read the whole review: I cannot imagine a better…read moreDJ experience. Hire Joe! My wedding would not have been the same without him and his awesome crew. Now, why? If you're still here, I've prepared a list (because that's what you do with the internet). The Prep 1. He felt like family. We (my now wife and I) met him at his house, and sat at the dinner table in his kitchen while we went over rates and options. There was dinner going on the stove, and his adorable dogs were just as welcoming, showering my (now) wife and I with love, and demanding attention. It felt like we lived there too. 2. He let us call the shots. Mind you, we were smart enough to let him make a lot of choices, as he is a DJ and we are not, but he never directed our choices. He gave us his opinion(s) and let us make our own choices. Again, we let him call a lot of shots because he is a party engineer and I got C3P0 on a "What Star Wars Character Are You" survey. You do the math. 3. He honored every commitment from the time we placed our deposit until the last song was played at the wedding. The Wedding 4. The wedding: Joe knows how to get people moving. I've had DOZENS (not exaggerating) of people tell me it was the funnest wedding they'd ever been to. Mind you, the open bar may have helped, but it was Joe and his crew that gave them a reason to dance terribly for hours on end. 5. He was like a coach. Each step of the grueling marathon he was there to offer support, tips, guidance. It sounds silly, but honestly: it helped a LOT. 6. I initially didn't think the photo booth was worth the money, but he and my wife convinced me otherwise late in the game and I am so glad they did. The booth had a line for most of the night, and the pictures got better as the night went on (there are some real gems of my grandma by herself having the time of her life). Ok, enough. Look, if you want to have a fun wedding and you want to do business with a man of integrity, go with Disc Jockey Productions. I had more fun planning things in Joe's kitchen than I did cake testing, and I love cake.

Tim Snyder was the DJ for my wedding last Saturday (9/10/2016) at the Ballroom in the Michigan…read moreLeague. He was so professional and, for me, more importantly, he was so responsive and so flexible to the ever-changing and improvised nature of my wedding! We were changing plans throughout the night, delaying key moments (the bouquet toss, the speeches, etc) or adding new events (flash-mob) and he was able to respond quickly to the chaos and didn't once get annoyed. Tim and his assistant Don did everything possible to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible - acting as liaisons between us and the building manager, wait-staff and our bridal party. THEY WERE AWESOME. He also did a good job with the music making sure that the old people had there moment and the young people did as well. Even though I told him he could go home at 11:30 PM, he stayed until midnight because guests wanted to keep dancing - that's how great they were. Also, he was sooooooo nice and seemed genuinely excited for my husband and me, celebrating with us throughout the night. Tim is more than a DJ - he's an all-around manager and a key right-hand person on your wedding day. I recommend him 100%! If you want a personal recommendation, please ask Tim to have you contact me, Grace, and I would be more than happy to talk to you in person.

More than a DJ -- a New Friend to Make your Wedding Day Magical…read more DJ Joey, hands down, was one of the most important people in making sure my wedding reception went well without a hitch. Planning a wedding is stressful. You typically only go through it once, so you are navigating new waters for the first time and just figuring out things as you go. When I met with Joey on Zoom, he was extremely professional, personable, and already had an agenda for things to talk about. I thought we were just going to talk about him DJing music, but then he brought up extremely important questions about how the flow of the reception was going to go, how people were going to be announced from the wedding party, what vibe I wanted at what times etc... Even getting into the minute details of the importance on how to pronounce a name and what the correct title of that person was etc. Joey took the time to understand my wedding party and family dynamics, along with the vision I had for how I wanted the reception to be like. At the end of our conversation, I realized there were many small details that I had not considered before that were essential for my wedding to be successful without last minute panic moments. DAY SAVER. Let me tell ya! My wedding was beyond "over-the-top" and I am so so so SO grateful to have had Joey as our DJ and MC for the night. He has a very family-oriented vibe to him and a wizard level of skill with truly feeling out the mood of the room and DJ'ing accordingly to it. He is a wonderful person, as well. I highly recommend Joey as a DJ. You will be in great hands. His prices are extremely fair. Thank you Joey for all of your help! We appreciate you so much!

Why hire a DJ when you can get a super-talented one-man-band!?!…read more You had better believe it - Rick C. definitely ROCKS! My husband and I had seen Rick perform at 336 Main in Plymouth a few years back and decided we wanted to hire him when we got married. Wow - were we not disappointed! If you think he sounds good in a noisy bar - just wait until you hear him in a quieter space...an outdoor wedding reception tent perhaps? Amazing! Like I said before - this guy is definitely super, super talented and really knows how to work a crowd. Rick was the life of our reception and made the entire evening a smash success. Nothing phased him - from singing the last part of our first dance together a capella due to a popcorn machine temporarily blowing a fuse -to- masterfully taking requests from the crowd (including knowing how to handle requests from young girls asking for him to play Justin Bieber songs) -to- playing multiple instruments at one time and even dancing a final dance with our guests. We'd hire him in a heartbeat for any future event...and our friends and family can't stop talking about him. He was even so masterful with his mixing that some people thought he never took a break the entire night. Thanks so much Rick - you're pretty darn awesome :) BTW...we've also heard good things about Rick's band - Ultraviolet - if you're looking to spend a little more money and hire a full band to really impress your guests. Our event only had around 100 people so we decided the band might have been a little too overpowering for our venue.

Highly recommend! Easy to work with busy schedule! Would hire again over others in the local area!read more
