Do NOT bring a vehicle to these guys. I brought in a 95 F150 in for a simple diagnosis as I could…read morenot figure out what was wrong with it. For the record, the truck still ran when I brought it in but it was having some issues with power while going uphill and was shaking a bit. I didn't hear anything about the truck for a week so I called to see what the holdup was. These people are impossible to reach over the phone no matter what time of day I called. I could usually get a hold of them about once a week where I would be told that they would have news on my truck within 3 days. This pattern continued on every week for a month. After the second week I was told that I would need MotorCraft spark-plugs in order to get a better diagnosis. I'm still unsure on whether or not I got scammed on this as i had just replaced my spark-plugs and wires the week before. In any case, I let him replace the plugs. He came to the conclusion that my truck needed a valve job which i'm not convinced is really the issue. I finally went to get my truck back and was charged just under a whopping 400 dollars for a basic diagnosis and some new spark plugs. This isn't even the worst part. I went to start my truck and it DIDN'T START. I paid these guys 400 dollars and my truck was in worse shape than before. I got my dad to help jump my truck just in case the battery was dead but this didn't fix the issue. We walked back to talk to Jeff and he gave me some crap about how I should try some better jumper cables. We went back to try my other set of cables. As we did this Jeff and his only other employee closed down the shop and drove away without offering even the slightest bit of assistance. My dad even walked over and put his arms up as they drove right past him. Note that the time was around 5:20 and the hours posted on the door say that the shop closes at 6. I climbed under my truck to try and see if my starter was giving me issues and saw that one of the spark plug wires was completely unplugged. I don't understand how a mechanic could fail at plugging in a spark-plug wire. After plugging it back in my truck was running just as well as it did before it had these MotorCraft spark plugs installed that I paid over 200 dollars for. It is an obvious show of character that this mechanic, who I just paid 400 dollars for essentially nothing, decided to drive away and leave me stranded in his parking lot when my truck was running worse than it was when I brought it to him. I will openly recommend that no one should do business with these people ever.
