It has a waterfall and trails through the woods that I see many joggers and dog walkers utilize. Follow the trails you will come across a really cool bridge that has graffiti that is neat. Open dusk to dawn like all Mobile, Alabama parks. Good for kids, but no playgrounds or restrooms, try the park across the street for that. Good for dogs.

We found this by searching for trails close to us. We have driven all around this in the past and…read morenever knew it existed. There aren't any signs for it leading you to it, and unfortunately there isn't an address, so you have to navigate to it from the map. There is street side parking with no organized parking lot at the trailhead; though there is a nearby parking lot or two. Disc golf is around the trail head. I don't know much about disc golf but there is a difficult shot across a gator infested pond. We enjoyed the hike. There are 1 mile, 2 mile and a 5k option. There are maps throughout the trails showing where to turn. It wasn't crowded, though there were a couple of off road bicyclists who didn't realize that they don't own the trail (and I bicycle several times a week). Part of the trail was flooded from recent rain, but otherwise it was quite an enjoyable experience.

Little Free Library for kids books near the brightly painted restroom building at the playground. Picnic Shelter has a soda machine, a sink, electric plug ins, tables, & two BBQ's. Free Parking near playground for at least 15-20 vehicles, smaller lot near baseball park is all handicapped parking. Pet Friendly Parks, Dogs Allowed. Clean, Quirt, no litter or sketchy people hanging around. FYI this park is directly next to the Satsuma City Graveyard just beyond the baseball area.

The park offers numerous recreational activities, such as disc golf, playgrounds, picnic areas, and walking trails. It encompasses the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile Botanical Gardens, and Playhouse in the Park. In addition, the park features tennis courts (the Mobile Tennis Center), and athletic fields for baseball and softball. Langan Park is also a popular spot for outdoor concerts and family outings. Many of the trees are labeled by genus and species. Plus, there is a large body of water that harbors the natural habitat for many birds, insects and other aquatic life. The 2.5 mile diameter sidewalk in the park is perfect for walking or running; though, It is not good for rollerskating in-line skating or skateboarding. Mostly because the mandatory crevices in the sidewalk are too wide (in some places) for the small wheels to navigate them safely. Seemingly, The maintenance crew does not keep the sidewalk very clear from debris. This could seriously injure a skateboarder or roller skater. It (a nasty fall from debris on the sidewalk) has happened to me twice already in the last six months. Minus 1 star for maintenance. Otherwise I completely enjoy walking in the park

This park has a lot. Always clean, litter free, pet friendly, great for kids, families, couples, etc. Tons of wildlife: ducks, geese, fish, turtles, rabbits, squirrels, an occasional alligator sighting in the lake areas (warm weather usually). Every time I come here, I always find something cool or new that keeps me coming back. Safe, there is a police station and military reserve located in the park near the museum. Directly across Ziegler Blvd from Mobile Japanese Gardens.

There are benches scattered throughout the park under an oak tree or two, also has a red gazebo/ pavilion with a red table & red benches. Part of the park on one side in sunk in, acts as a ponding basin when the rain gets heavy, it looked a little muddy at the bottom when we're there, but I am sure it is not always that way. You could probably play football or soccer there as long as there is no mud. There is an elevated walking trail all around this area I was able to walk my dog around, and a wooden gate that leads to neighborhood behind the park. Small parking lot in front of park, and at least two drinking fountains within park. Park closes at sundown.
