He got me into the car to tend to my dogs, but the lock system is so thorough that the only way to access the trunk was to make another key. He tried for some time to help me. Desperate, I called our contractor to come pick me up as the fee with the proposed lock making was more expense. The locksmith spent his valuable time and gas trying with great effort to access the trunk for keys and he did get me into the main part with dogs. I was not charged and I appreciate so much what was done for me and my dogs. This is a prompt service and this locksmith was so kind to me.​

I had told him on the phone that my dog was in the car so when he was there within ten minutes I was happy. When it took him over a half hour to unlock a door, I was no longer happy. He was unable to push the lock with one of his tools and ended up making a key. After determining the numbers needed to make the key, he had the numbers wrong and had to go through the process again. I mentioned a few times about it getting warm for the dog. He didn't respond and his laid back, slow approach made me use every ounce of patience I had. He even stopped and gave very detailed directions to someone. Canton is not big enough to need very detailed directions to get anywhere! I am thankful that he finally did get the door open. I also now have an extra key that doesn't have a thick end so it will fit in my card holder (after asking for the key he made and being a little confused on why he didn't offer it and pocketed it instead.) My entire experience in Canton was odd and all I did was stop and get gas. It could almost equate to a Stephen King novel. I don't think I will stop there again when driving through the area.

As if the situation wasn't already crappy enough, this was the only key I had to my car. After searching the Internet tirelessly, it seemed I only had two choices to get my car running again. Choice #1: Have my car towed to the nearest dealership. Choice #2: Find a locksmith that not only had the equipment to program the computer chip in the fob, but that was also willing to come to where my car was. The closest dealership happened to be in Springfield and I was in a small river town in Iowa. Choice 1 was going to get expensive fast! Choice 2 seemed to be the best option but the locksmith in my town didn't have the equipment to program the chip. So back to the Internet I went and there I found A-1 Security & Lock Service in Quincy. Not only were they willing to make the 45 minute drive to me, they had the equipment to cut a new key and program the computer chip as well!! It actually took less that 45 minutes! They were professional and didn't charge me an arm and a leg for their services. The situation I was in could easily have cost me some SERIOUS CASH! In upwards of $500 or even more. With their cost of $1 a mile and cutting 2 new keys and programming them I spent $190. However I did purchase the 2 key blanks with blank computer chips in them from Amazon which I do not suggest doing. There is a chance that the aftermarket key you purchase from the Internet will not program. Then you will be left with a useless key and the charges for A-1's services and the amount of purchasing another key that will work. A-1 is able to get the key you need, so just buy yours from them. I got lucky that mine did work. A-1 was professional, on time and like superheroes to me in my situation. I hope this review can help someone out there in the same situation because I know there are others out there trying to figure out what to do.

I call jerry's and they told me the price up frontly immediately came out. The thing with that Lincoln ISIS, if you don't have the keyless entry code which I'm the fifth owner, I don't have it. And with all the automatic locks and no key, all the lacks were disabled. There was no way to pop the lax or given to the trunk.Because of the way that locke system is. Nonetheless, a young man who worked at jerry's spent at least a half hour or more trying to get into the car for me. I was able to contact a friend to pick me up and get me to my house to get the other key. The young man did tell me they could make another key to get me into the car, but the cost would have been much more.And because he wasn't able to get into the car, the conventional way without getting a key made, he didn't charge me. There you are, young man spent his gas. Effort, time trying to help an old lady who was panicking about getting to her dogs that were in the car.And he didn't charge me a dime, and I want to give a good shout out for jerry's because these are good, decent, honest and helpful people. This is, this is the third time i've used them over 8 yrs, shame on me. Each time they are 'johny on the spot' God bless them!!!!
