Stopped by this gem of a shop on our way back from a winery. If you are conservative and in the Travelers Rest, South Carolina area, stop here. The owner is a very nice lady and they have a lot of stuff you can't find anywhere else. Great prices too for T-shirts. read more

Don't waste your time or money at a place like Dixie Republic. It really ain't worth it. More than a few people on multiple sites have mentioned receiving the wrong items or getting screwed over in other ways. Some of them need to learn how to treat their customers! read more

Interesting place. If you are open-minded, respect the opinions of others and like people with strong beliefs or just wish to set-a-spell and play checkers then this place is for you. Enjoy free coffee and cookies while you browse the vast array of T-shirts and hats bearing the confederate flag, personal statements and political views. I placed an order for two tshirts. One Nathan Bedford Forrest and one Jack Hinson. The invoice shows 2 Nathan Bedford Forrest shirts. I have a tremendous amount of respect for General Forrest. I do have kin related to Jack Hinson. I have made several phone calls and emails toward the company. Unfortunately they do not know how to respond to customers. I have read the reviews and it appears this company likes to do this. Please stay away from this company. read more

AVOID THIS BUSINESS. I ordered 2 license plates from their website, but only received 1. I called their business phone dozens of times over 2 weeks with no answer and their phone message system was full, not accepting any messages. All of my emails were returned undeliverable. Their Facebook page is shut down. I hope they enjoy that $10 I paid for a product that I never received. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! read more

Stopped by this store on the way to Greenville from Asheville. Amazing selection and quality shirts. I've ordered from them since and always received good service. I suspect the bad reviews are fakes planted by butthurt snowflakes that deal with their own miserable existence by trying to denigrate anyone with a different opinion. read more

We found Dixie Republic as we were driving from Houston to N. Carolina. I was so excited to go in and this place was great! I enjoy studying the War between the States (aka Civil War). Dixie Republic has shirts, hoodies,caps, kepi, books, bumper stickers, shot glasses.plus beautiful wooden boxes, in assorted sizes, with full color pictures on the top. They also have an online store and are happy to ship. The owner was nice, helpful and not overbearing. I will definitely be ordering from Dixie Republic. If you enjoy this history, you should stop by or check out their online selection. read more

Order 19709. I ordered two tags for my dad, suppose to be for Father's Day. They got their money but I got screwed. The don't monitor their email, they don't answer their phone. I can't just go over there, I'm 500 miles away. I don't appreciate being ignored after spending my money. My dad will be disappointed and I'll keep leaving bad reviews. Are they even a legit company? Ordered 6 T-shirts. received only 4. Send numerous emails which did get delivered since I had been coorasponding with them in the past on colors since they were out of the colors I had ordered . Unbelievable! I purchased items to support my Southern heritage but unfortunately failed. Finally received my order and it contained only three of the five items I ordered. No note explaining the issue, no call, or email. Trying to call their customer service is a joke. This is a guy benefiting from the recent flag issue and burning us, the customers. I ordered a shirt and license plate from them ,it came in just two days The owner is a great guy , he not only was cool enough to throw in some stickers But personally wrote a thank you for your order on the back of his card . To me that tells me he cares about his customers. I also had Family who fought in the war I am very proud of my Southern heritage With what shit is going on in this world , it is great to know you can still find what you need to maintain your heritage and teach your children about it. Ordered a mug. Arrived broken with all the pieces of the handle neatly placed in the mug under the packing paper. Called to see about getting it replaced and was told they "would be out money if they were to replace it"....yes I get that. You sent me a broken item and now I've lost money on a broken product. She then turned and conferred with another employee about what the prices should be. These items were nothing special. I was expecting the usual rate (around $4-$5), but she turned back to me and said $12 each! I was dumbfounded. I could buy similar items brand new for the same or lower prices. I said no thanks and left with nothing. I will not be returning to this store.

Saw this place on the way from Asheville to Greenville and had to stop and see whether it was as horrifying as the gigantic Confederate battle flag outside implied. It was. Yes, this place still exists in the very state where a white nationalist inspired by neo-Confederates and their "heritage" walked into a church and killed nine black people. I've never seen so many Confederate flags in my life, plastered on everything from mugs to kids' underwear to pocketknives. I couldn't decide which was more offensive: the rebel flag on a shirt with "Jesus Saves" superimposed over it, or the bumper sticker with a rebel flag flying over the US Capitol with the words, "I Have a Dream." And this wasn't just run of the mill Southern "Lost Cause" BS. This was clear white nationalism, and the veneer of "heritage" over its racism was so very thin. (Bumper stickers saying, "Never Ashamed to Be White.") The heritage you celebrate is one that was based upon the cruel enslavement of millions. Your heritage is hate. Did I mention that the store had a special rack dedicated to Trump merchandise? No? Oh, well that went without saying anyway. And before you wannabe Confederates claim I'm just some damn Yankee who doesn't know his history, I'm from Louisiana and have a PhD in History from Duke. #micdrop read more

The t-shirts and sweatshirts I bought for several family members and friends had containted severe mold spores. It caused my friends little sister to have such a severe reaction she ended up in the ICU. Also, the mold spread into the washer that caused the rest of our clothing to be effected. I had the material tested and it also showed traces of human feces and cat urine.I guess that's what I get for not knowing before hand that the confederate flag has nothing to do with being located in the South. It has to do with the fact the creator of the confederate flag was also the founding member and creator of the KKK. I found that out after telling my family members that it was just a southern thing to do. I feel disgusted literally physically and morally. Never wear a confederate anything. read more

As of today, January 21, 2021, I have still not received my reimbursement in the amount of $149.00. I call regularly and the employees give me the same response, "You are on the list". Spoke with the owner once and she explained that due to Covid, they were at hardships and paying their bills and employees were priority. One would think hardships means you were running your business not paying someone else. I've also sent emails and received no response. Was commenting on her FB post but she would delete them and has now removed commenting as an option. If you have been paid for my items sold and spent that money, you have stolen from me. This is not an honest company and they have put their needs in front of being ethical. Please do not consign your items there or shop their store. Thank you for reading.
