I've been in Miami for almost 2 weeks now with my family, and we enjoy trying different places so we can share the results with our friends back home in Canada. I am kosher, so we're a little limited in terms of choices, but the food here is absolutely amazing!! My wife doesn't agree, but I believe the food at this place is the best I've had here in Miami so far. We had some "KFC Kosher Fried Chicken" wings, the Colombo hotdog, the BBQ Pulled and the Buffalo Chix. Just delicious!! We also loved the fact that the girl serving us made some great recommendations. Always up for a new bbq place..but its more of a fried chickenand burger place... the online menu different from the items they have. Was alil confused... so i ordered the 2 beef ribs 23$ that were a 3 out of 10. not great diff. Needed something . Because its Kosher ill try it again. This place is FANTASTIC!! I ordered the BBQ pulled sandwich (for delivery) and I called in the advance to make sure it was plain. Everything came as I asked and I was very happy. Most times you order for delivery something is wrong. Not Dixie BBQ they care about their customers and listen to what we want. Ha ...well, the place was packed, and the manager stepped up and started taking everyone's food order, personally, keeping things moving along in a quick and organized manor. As fast as people were finishing their meal, people were walking in and ordering!! My main focus while eating out in Miami was to try as hard as possible to eat outside. I've been wanting to try this place for two years because good kosher food is hard to find. I'm not sure if this place changed ownership or not, because it didn't have the vibe I was expecting from previous social media posts, but the food was good. I had the original dixie sandwich and the loaded fries. I was looking for the "milk" shakes but didn't see them on the menu. The portions are generous and the food is flavorful. The chicken sandwich is on par with any non kosher chicken joint and that's a compliment. The garlic aioli is yummy and the chicken is crunchy and juicy, and the pickles and lettuce were extremely fresh. The loaded fries were really good. The chili was spiced with either baharat, which is a middle eastern spice blend or all spice. It reminded me of my Egyptian grandmother's meat sauce. I wish the fries were cooked for maybe a minute longer but it was fine. It was interesting for me to eat something "American" with a very Egyptian or middle eastern twist. This place can not cook a burger to your taste. I wanted my burger MEDIUM when I got it, it was well done. I return it and ask for medium and it was still well done I said to myself $&@&: I am going to return it again. The front service counter doesn't even ask you how you want your burger done. Wow! Rude! We drive 40 min cause when we tried to call in our order they said only in house orders. Only to get here and to be turned away face to face. They can't take our order cause the keep taking online orders and can't figure out what to do. Confused about running a business? I think so! Beyond disgusting customer service. The order arrived almost two hours late... soggy and incomplete. When I called to let them know half my order was missing they had zero interest in trying to make things right. I threatened to dispute charges they simply said ok thank you and hung up. If I could give zero stars I would. I placed an order thru the Dixies website for deliver of $60.39 on 8/17/2020. The store refused to make the order for the Door Dash company that Dixies website sent the order to. After calling and arguing with several store owners I went to the complaints department which it has been OVER 2 MONTHS and they keep telling me that it's being processed that day YET I NEVER RECEIVE the refund! This was a place I once liked ordering from; however, they will no longer be receiving my business as I absolutely hate this place now. read more

We ordered 3 meals to our office. one of the orders paid for extra sauce. The other order (buffalo wrap) came with NO buffalo sauce at all. When I call to ask for the sauces the owner told me he will refund me and not send the sauce we paid for because he will not allow someone to eat his food for free with his sauce. Not my first time there. The last time was terrific. Food was great. Servings generous. But I fear they are entering the kosher restaurant death spiral. This time, the burger was overdone and quite a bit smaller than last time. The pastrami sandwich was more of a lettuce and tomato sandwich with a smattering of pastrami. The onion rings we ordered were not the homemade ones we saw last time, but clearly dumped out of a Kineret frozen onion ring bag. Somewhat disappointing. Unless today's experience was an aberration, I suspect they'll be out of business in a couple of months. read more
